No it's not a smart play. It's a dumb fucking play especially given the amount of receiving talent this team has.

Plenty of teams run that play, because the FB is uncovered

Thats a completely different play than running your 300 lb center. The worst that could happen is he drops the pass.

Could always try that triple option play with the TE coming across which almost always seems to work for one reason or another

Roshon would be the best choice in that particular setting..

I don’t have a problem with the play. I have a problem for when it was used. Up 3 TDs in the 4th? Sure, give the big guy a crack at the end zone. In that situation? No way in hell. And if Waldron really believes otherwise (given his knack for calling random wtf plays in the worst situation, he probably does) he needs to go after the season alongside Eberflustered.

I had a lot of hope that the offense this year would more resemble Seattle's offense last year.

Welp, no skin off my back if he talks his way into getting fired. They don't pay me to consult, but a better answer would be - trying to be tricky bit us in the ass, and our next goal line run was with Roschon, who secured the ball and got the TD. I'm not going to take us out of position to go up in a game like that again.

According to 670, Waldron doubled down on his decision to hand the ball off to Doug Kramer when he met with the media today.

"Waldron stood by his decision to hand the ball off to Kramer with the game on the line"

"I was confident in the call and would call it again"

🤡
Waldron would have been respected more if he came out and said it was a dumb call and took responsibility for it. This dude is a fool.

Homer is back so he'll never hand off to the full back (Kramer) again. Instead in that same situation. Homer gets the ball and we wonder what happened to Roschon.

Except for the day we sign Garrett Wolfe to retire his jersey but before that run him up the middle at 3rd and goal in the 4th quarter oh hey now
