If there is one season in recent memory that is impossible to project for the Bears - it's this one. All new coaching staff, new GM is rebuilding trying to get his guys, yet Fields is in his 2nd season and the Bears have some OK pieces. I anticipate a losing season, but whether that's 1 win or 8 wins is anybody's best guess. I'd wager it'll be somewhere in the middle of that.

I'd prefer a season without the typical Bears hollow luck victories. I'm actually okay with a 1-16 record as long as Fields looks like he can be that guy.

There is though. And that is children crying about it. Come back when you are a man.
LOL! Not only are you a pathetic wanker with no friends, you're also an Internet Tough Guy! Do you actively try to make yourself look worse? No wait, I already know the answer.

Tough guy?
It was an insult, not a threat.
Get a clue.

And yet he has been better than most at projecting the Bears wins.........

2021 Projection: 6-11. 2021 Actual Result: 6-11.
2020 Projection: 3-13. 2020 Actual Result: 8-8.
2019 Projection: 11-5. 2019 Actual Result: 8-8.
2018 Projection: 10-6. 2018 Actual Result: 12-4.
2017 Projection: 4-12. 2017 Actual Result: 5-11.
2016 Projection: 8-8. 2016 Actual Result: 3-13.
His 2016 and 2020 were nearly spot on. ;)

I get, it's the cool thing to do nationally to rip down the Bears, but ONE win? Come on.

If Fields shows he can be that guy they won't go 1-16. Maybe if the defense has a record number of injuries or something.

If Poles and Eberflus are good it doesn't matter what their record is this year.

So between playing the Lions x2, Falcons, Jets, Texans, Commanders, and Giants this season, Walter only has us winning one game LOL!!!! I look forward to laughing at this thread multiple times throughout the season...

It looks to me like he was right once, close twice, and wrong three times. An insanely generous marker would give him a 50%, and intelligent one between 20% and 35%. So who gives a fuck if no one else has "done better"? The results are shit. The fact that nobody has a clue doesn't make it better.

I understand you're desperate for the Bears not to kick the Lions in the nuts twice this year, and maybe that happens. But for right now, I wouldn't get excited based on this "prediction".

And once again, let me point out that there is nothing sadder than a (presumably) grown man hanging out on an opposing teams' fan forum trying to stir up trouble. Find some friends. Go outside. Get a hobby.
He’s a Bears fan. I thought everyone knew that by now.

Team would need a lot of injuries to go 1-16.

They'll win more than one game, JFC. I have them at 5-12.

Bears haven't won less than 3 games since 1969, just barely inside the modern era. That was also the only time the NFL's oldest franchise has ever had the worst in the NFL, and even then they tied the Steelers (and famously lost a coin toss for the #1 pick, which turned out to be Terry Bradshaw).

1-16 would obviously be the worst record in the league. There's no historical precedence to suggest that's even a possibility. I know this team isn't that talented in the grand scheme, but there's almost a 0 chance they finish with the league's worst record.
