I knew I did it wrong......let's start over.

We should package Cutler and Forte and our 7th round pick, in exchange for Cam, DeAngelo, Hardy and their 1st this year and next and sign Cam to the league minimum for the next 10 years. There fixed it, now we can talk about some football!

I'm sure he views himself as a starter, instead of a complimentary back..

Because Forte is such a good receiver and can block a two back lineup is a great choice. You present the defense with a running play in either direction, with either back as a lead blocker, Forte can go in motion or just split out wide. But I guess there's no coast that invented an offense that worked in the 70's.

Maybe we should just trade Cutty for Adrian Peterson. Then with all the new cap space we sign McCown to a 7yr 126mil contract which, unlike Cutler, he acutally deserves.

I would be for two-back sets, if we had a lead blocker who could bang out the short yards. Williams wouldnt bring that, and I think Carey is going to be competent enough to handle 10-20 snaps a game.

Sign him and split up the playing time like this:

Matt Forte 60%
DeAngelo Williams 30%
Ka'Deem Carey 10%

John Fox usually used 3 different running backs in Carolina and Denver. Most teams use at least 2, some use 3 and other teams like the Saints and Patriots use 4.

Hurt often and no upside. Not opposed to a 2 back system, but should be with youth to do that. Esp because Forte is older.
