I'm not asking you or anyone to subscribe to the Washington Post or read a lengthy article. Just read the brief and tell me if that changes the opinion I've heard of 'only 5% of harassed women are actually harassed'.

That's really what I was trying to debunk. Overall as a society we've gotten pretty lazy (or maybe technology has made our laziness harder to hide). It's so much easier to see a big structural problem and look for reasons why we shouldn't do anything. In this situation the Washington Post did some genuine journalism. They identified a problem, put in a lot of work in, verified their sources and made their findings easy to digest. With that being said it's a pay site, so many will use that as a reason not to learn about this specific issue.

Back on topic, the text message exchanges was inappropriate from both sides. She shouldnt be asking her boss to bring food to her apartment while she is in bed. Explain to me what ever happened to waiting for the evidence to sort itself out, and not draw sweeping conclusions based on accusations? Not that sensationalism in journalism is a thing or anything.........

Yes, I am sure there are some real concerns here. That first text message was cringe worthy. The second exchange was very odd, and a poor example of sexual harassment. How many women just causally call up a male co-worker, inform them they are still in bed, and ask them to bring food over? Seems the Post could come up with something much better to substantiate their "report".

As for the Costa Rica Trip, that, if true is really troubling. But I suspect there is a lot more to that story as well. My guess is the cheerleaders/models where paid to have a photo shoot topless. Much like a model that poses for playboy is.

That being said, one would certainly think for an NFL Franchise, or it's employees, to sanction such an event is most definitely a violation of league policy, but from a legal perspective not sexual harassment.

However, the way the Post is reporting it, not only would it be sexual harassment, it would be kidnapping. If this were the case, I would hope jail time was in the future.
