What about bacon wrapped fish?
Just the idea of eating microwaved fish is bad enough. It would if my food went bad. I wouldn't eat fish if I was working a day job, because I don't eat fish for lunch. But if I had fish for dinner, yeah, sorry, I'm gonna eat what I paid for so it doesn't spoil. The only time I've ever smelled fish to what you're describing is when someone over nukes the shit. By that point, it's pretty much dried out and terrible to eat anyway. But I don't think a bad smell is infringing on anyone's rights, whereas actively telling someone what they can and can't eat seems to be very much doing so. If it's an issue like BNB brought up where someone is allergic, then I fully understand.
Now you may be on to something. What about bacon wrapped fish?
That cooked brocolli smell is nasty, I eat it raw .I can honestly say I've never experienced food smelling that bad or lingering that long. Maybe that's where the disconnect is. I mean, the broccoli smelled like someone took a giant dump in the break room everyday, but it never bothered me after the initial unsuspecting whiff.

Think fish is bad just wait for one of your coworkers to bring their favorite curry in and slap it in the micro. Smell doesn't go away for a week.
Thanks DC. I thought I was the only person on CCS who re-heated cooked fish using a microwave. How TF else would you warm it up at work? Not like I have an oven just laying around I can use.I mean, you guys aren't microwaving the fish from a raw state to a cooked state, are you? I'm thinking you are just reheating it. Reheating fish isn't a crime and takes all of 15-30 seconds? If you feel guilty, reheat it to room temp (10 seconds?). Nothing wrong with room temp fish. I would only pause if you are in fact actually cooking fish from a raw state. If that's the case, GTFO.
In regards to sensitive little fish allergies, poor guys. The amount of things people in this world are allergic to is pathetic. I am proud to say that both my boys are allergic to NOTHING. They're already 10X the men some with pubes are.
Leave it sit on your car dash maybe? That way it is your car that smells like fish (no problem, right?) and not something others have to smell. Thanks DC. IMAGINE not having custodians ??The worst thing is ppl that get raw onions on their food and don't eat them all. Throw it away in their office garbo can overnight... god its awful the next day.
This coming from a guy that loves both raw and grilled onions.
I made Mulligatawny Soup a few years back in the winter, and a friend mentioned she likes to make it, but only when she can air out the house. I soon realized why.Think fish is bad just wait for one of your coworkers to bring their favorite curry in and slap it in the micro. Smell doesn't go away for a week.
