Yeah. Michigan was screwed on that call. You can't take points off of the board because of a refs bad call and not call it a screw job.

Obvious TD
Obviousl target.
College refs worse than NFL refs?
His knee was obviously on the ground and, since it is not the NFL, the ball was down the instant that he controlled the ball. It was a judgement call by the refs and they said it was short, so the replay had to be 100% certain on the placement and there MIGHT have been a blade of grass between his buttcheek and the endzone, and, since he was not leaning back, short was not out of the question.

EDIT: If it was called a TD on the field, then you are right. Not enough to change the play.

The target was a terrible call.

I’m tired of referees all of a sudden influencing games with targeting and roughing the passer penalties during end of game drives. I swear at the end of every game refs are looking for anything to keep the game going. This never used to happen. But it feels like nowadays at the end of every game they’re just looking for any little thing to extend the game. . Holding on a guy in the secondary, PI, roughing the passer. It’s non stop. They’re single handedly influencing these games over and over again. I feel like I see it every Sunday now.

The Big10 also sucks and other than Ohio State, who get a bunch of talent the region isn’t populated or football centric enough to compete with other parts of the country. Michigan bullied teams all year. Then as soon as they’re not playing some Big10 school and they’re competing with kids from places like Texas. Large populations that are football centric they immediately get exposed. Texas, Florida, California, Georgia. You need kids from these places. Other than Ohio State the conference doesn’t really get these kids. Maybe occasionally they do. Not consistently enough though.
