If only it were that simple. It is asthma of the skin

I "had" eczema and took vitamin E. It helped a lot and my skin quit itching

I have a few watches, both of them have the 'DaVinci' look. It's a nice all-around look that you can wear going out to a nice place with your lady or hanging out on a weekend. Here's one that I bought about six months ago. Not too expensive, either -- I paid $145 shipped for it.

Tag Heuer for me.. "Carrera"

I don't usually wear a watch though..I have a clock in the truck, a clock on the cell phone, and everywhere I go, there is usually a clock hanging on the wall

Only place I've never seen a clock is in the doctors office. They don't want people knowing how fuckin late they always are

since I work w/ kids, I'm looking for a really nice watch to go out in...and a cheap but nice looking watch I can wear to work...

Right now, I'm kinda liking one like this.

Pretty nice watch and a good price. A lot of the other watches posted here are nice, but there's just too much action going on for my taste. I like a nice watch that doesn't attract attention yet, when people see it, they think classy.

I used to be a big watch guy..I have several..A Rolex(garbage)..Movado (nice), Tag Heuer (nice), and a few of the reissue Hamiltons (nice). I also bought two Tommy Bahama watches that havent come out of the box..I dont know why I bought em.. I havent worn any of them in like 7 years now..I have a cheap watch I got from Orvis that I wear every day around the house, but thats about it. Fancy watches have become ostentatious IMO, and I've noticed that when I see some guy with a high end watch he fits a certain personality type. It embarrasses me to think I was once like that

Sorry to resurrect a thread probably no one cares about, but kickoff is about two hours away and I feel like going on a rant against big watches. WTF is up with everyone having to wear ginormous oversized pimped out stupid looking watches? I keep finding these beautiful watches I really want to have but then they are just too fucking big and don't really fit me and defeat the whole purpose of having a nice watch, which is to have something beautiful and functional that just works and doesn't have to pull on your attention. For reasonably sized watches the selection just isn't the same, unless you go vintage, because the manufacturers are making everything stupid big to fit the dumb ass demands of dumb ass consumers.

So I decided on an Oris bc3 advanced because it's gorgeous and simple and easy to read with my aging eyes and reasonably tough and has a rubber strap because I work in a hospital and have to wash my hands all the time. There is no authorized dealer in Albuquerque so I couldn't try it on. So I ordered one from overstock because they are reputed to have a simple return policy. Once you cut off the tag attached to the clasp though, you can't send it back.

So I've been wearing it around the house all weekend with the tag hanging off it like Mini Pearl. I did my research and at 42mm with a 7" wrist all these hardcore watch collector bros on watchuseek said it would be fine, doesn't wear big because of curved lugs, go for it, etc. But it still feels big and a bit uncomfortable. I hate the hassle of returning stuff but I think I might send it back and get a Hamilton Khaki Field auto 38mm, then find a rubber strap for it.

These are the places where my mind sometimes goes for days at a time and then I wonder why I didn't get anything done all weekend.

/rant over.
