He might still be a cap for the Vikes even after he diesNope, Vikings will die with Cousins
Let's not rehash the Watson issue, but I think yes he will be traded. He is under contract until 2025. He isn't going back to the Texans. He was almost traded last season. His value will increase the closer his legal issues are to a conclusion and the teams have more certainty when he will be back on the field. You'd have to be a moron to trade for Watson with his legal issues.
And with the regular season hero (Rodgers) likely gone, the North becomes wide open. The Bears have some cap issues this season and less draft capital so I think next season is when we will see the Bears on the top of the North. Not worried either way we got Fields
The future is now mfs
The trade was nixed because he could not clear his legal issues. That's a pretty big hurdle.Let's not rehash the Watson issue, but I think yes he will be traded. He is under contract until 2025. The only 3-way that is happening is Cousins and his contract tag team effing the Vikings org. LOL.he somehow thinks there will be some three way trade between Vikes/Texans/Browns
Yeah, I know this. Feel kinda bad for him. The Vikings are just as mediocre/inept as the Bears org it seems. Maybe worse because they have drafted some serious talent but haven't done shit with it. Like ever. Last season I think they invented new ways to lose. The only 3-way that is happening is Cousins and his contract tag team effing the Vikings org. LOL.
Agreed. And if it was some backup CB nobody would bother with him, but Watson plays the one position teams are going to take a risk on. At some point, the Texans are going to want to move on and a 1st and 3rd, or something similar, will be worth the risk for the other team. The trade was nixed because he could not clear his legal issues. Yeah, the proven yet expensive veteran QB contract has seen mixed results. The Vikings went nowhere with Cousins, Wentz wasn't that helpful, 49ers saw mixed success with Jimmy G, and the Rams won the SB with Stafford.Yeah, I know this. Feel kinda bad for him.
