My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Michigan Wolverines
  2. Ohio Bobcats
My bet is Cousins ends up in Cleveland, with Minn sending him and a third round pick and get Baker Mayfield in return.

There are two QBs in that division better than Baker Mayfield, and what the FO might decide to do is look for the QB of the future next year. In the meantime, Mayfield does have trade potential now on his fifth year option with the potential to be better. If they take on Cousins' contract, they could swindle Minn out of a decent draft pick, and let Cousins have a year while they evaluate the rest of the roster.

I really can't see Minnesota moving Cousins. 35 million dollar salary and this is his last contract year.

Being that they can't move him, I would guess Minnesota makes a run at the North this year with Rodgers gone and then regardless of what happens Cousins is an UFA next season.

You'd have to be a moron to trade for Watson with his legal issues. Obviously he has some serious legal problems that could potentially land him in jail and/or suspended. Is there any guarantee he won't do illegal shit in the future?

Let's not rehash the Watson issue, but I think yes he will be traded. He is under contract until 2025. He isn't going back to the Texans. He was almost traded last season. His value will increase the closer his legal issues are to a conclusion and the teams have more certainty when he will be back on the field.

Not worried either way we got Fields
The future is now mfs
And with the regular season hero (Rodgers) likely gone, the North becomes wide open. The Bears have some cap issues this season and less draft capital so I think next season is when we will see the Bears on the top of the North.

I have a Vikes friends who is all about this. I tried to explain Kirks cap hit and he somehow thinks there will be some three way trade between Vikes/Texans/Browns

The Vikings will have to give up picks to get ride of Cousins similar to the Brock Osweiler deal

The trade was nixed because he could not clear his legal issues. That's a pretty big hurdle.

The only 3-way that is happening is Cousins and his contract tag team effing the Vikings org. LOL.

Yeah, I know this. Feel kinda bad for him. The Vikings are just as mediocre/inept as the Bears org it seems. Maybe worse because they have drafted some serious talent but haven't done shit with it. Like ever. Last season I think they invented new ways to lose.

Agreed. And if it was some backup CB nobody would bother with him, but Watson plays the one position teams are going to take a risk on. At some point, the Texans are going to want to move on and a 1st and 3rd, or something similar, will be worth the risk for the other team.

Yeah, the proven yet expensive veteran QB contract has seen mixed results. The Vikings went nowhere with Cousins, Wentz wasn't that helpful, 49ers saw mixed success with Jimmy G, and the Rams won the SB with Stafford.

I think going forward teams are going to realize they need a pretty good team before they pay that veteran QB, otherwise they are better embracing the suck and trying their luck in the draft.
