No I really like him. I'd rather trade him to a team he has a chance to win a championship with and the bears can get value for a player for the future when they can win.

Told ya'll Sigs wasn't ready for the grind of a CCS preseason schedule.

But he's still a rookie, give him time.

He plays DT.
When they signed him, they cut another DT since they didn't need an extra DT. Not sure how this affects Quinn.
Other than it doesn't. Gotta agree these articles are getting worse by the day.

Personally I want Quinn to stay. I enjoy watching him play, he want to stay here, and be mentor to young ones.. Extra draft pics are not everything.
Our QB needs help. Some of that help comes from a good def. Field position. Not being down big in score. It's not just the offensive players that help the QB be better. The defense sets it up too. Keep him.

Watts is the pickup everyone should be talking about but isn't because they're distracted by the Leatherwood overhype.

That being said I don't see how getting a much needed boost at DT is going to help this defense make a huge blunder by trading away its only reliable DE on an already thin D-line.

I believe Watts was a defensive end in a 3-4. He should play inside In Eberflus's 4-3. I agree with your article in that the pickup of Watts means more to the Bears but don't think it has much of a bearing on Quinn's status.

I'm happy with the Watts pickup but think it has no impact on Quinn's future with the team. Right now, Quinn is the only player we have that has a proven ability to bring pressure off the edge. Watt hopefully can be a good addition to help collapse the middle, take on blocks and let our LBs play cleaner to the ball. I expect a DT rotation early in the season as I expect teams to try and test our Dline with a running attack frequently until we can prove that we can stop it and perhaps Watts can be part of that rotation. If I was an offensive coordinator scheming against the Bears, I'd attack our Dline first with a rushing attack and if they show to stop that, I'd start to test the LB core with routes that require the LBs to cover some speed which outside of Roquan maybe our next biggest weakness.

Quinn is a prime trade candidate in the middle of the season for a team looking to replace someone who went down or looking for an extra boost for a super bowl run. In the meantime, he's a good player and a veteran leader. Patience.
