Yes...it was vicious. The NHL needs to remove those from the game...it's ruining it

LA didn't improve enough and the Hawks kept on doing what they did in the first and it paid off. Good to see them chase Quick, he hasn't faced an offensive team like the Hawks yet in the playoffs (including almost the whole last playoff) and it turns out he isn't unbeatable like the stupid media narrative wants you to think. Hawks big guns need to wake up, though.

And a 4-2 win finally.

funny you say that, during the second intermission my wife commented on how fast the broadcasters change their prediction on the entire series.

Quick isn't the Kings issue. They haven't been able to score again these playoffs. Now that they are beat to all shit and facing a defence better than the Blues and Sharks combined they have no hope in hell. Anyone who doesn't think Kopitar isn't seriously hurt then they have never watched Kopitar play. He isn't even half of his true self out there. He isn't skating well at all. I know I know "everyone is hurt in the playoffs"..which is a bullshit first of all as its another overused hockey cliche and secondly there are worse injuries than others. Kopitar is obviously nursing something really bad. Kings just don't have the depth to overcome an inured Kopitar. Even if he were healthy the Kings would still be in trouble though. Quick is the only reason this team is playing in the conference final. I still believe Kane is injured also..my guess is his wrist again. Last time he had a wrist injury he played the same way. His shots strength and accuracy is down and hes not attempting many risky hard passes either.

Nice that he got chased tonight though I agree. Im a Quick fan but that doesn't mean I want him to do well this series. Obviously I want him to fail..but reality is he has already done his job for the Kings. The rest of that team just sucks and the Hawks are just that much better...way better actually.

But I too am amazed that anyone would have picked the Kings this series based on Quick alone. That's crazy talk. You need more than just goalkeeping. Quick sure the hell played well last year..so did Kopitar.

Quite a good point. This Kopitar doesn't look like the guy that annoyed the **** out of me in past seasons.

Bickell took a lot of of Doughty and Richards as well, not to mention he got a "goal" tonight too...Is it ok to call him the new "Claude Lemieux" yet?

One quote I already got from a Kings fan:

I am beyond sad... this is fn bullshit. I'm pissed so I can't discussed the bullshit that has been going on with the Kings and the lacks of calls on injuries.

I loved the fact Handzus scored on Quick the way he did. He really made Quick look bad.

Then again, he was a former King after all. He should know how to score on Quick.

I'm sure they don't want to admit to those facts.... Remember, LA is a city of nothing but broken promises, empty dreams, fake things, and hallucinations.... similar to what their fans think of both Richards and Brown.

Another favorite quote I got...

I don't blame Quick at all. As a matter of fact I'm glad he did that. Personally I am hoping he did it to prove a point. Hey the team is blowing it so why should he give his all. I'm mad at Brown for not being the leader we all know he is. I'm mad at Carter for needing to be spoon fed to get the puck in the net. I'm mad at Doughty for his lack of defensive pressure as well at Regehr. And Kopi ugh don't get me started on him. WTF Kings. Man I love them but nothing pisses me off more than seeing Champions playing with that lack of motivation. Play the mother sutting puck for God sakes!!!

At least someone had the gall to call Kopi and Regehr out...
