I think Bernier will steal one in LA. Then Hawks win Game 5 at home.

The bet is on as the mayors have put their bets in.

If we win, here's what Mayor Emanuel gets...

[*]9 #19 Pastrami Sandwiches from Langer’s Deli (And trust me these are good)
[*]9 French Dip Sandwiches from Phillipe the Original (same opinion as above. I miss these actually)
[*]For the sandwiches, one case of Morehouse Mustard, the official mustard of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
[*]One case of beer each from our very own Golden Road and Eagle Rock Breweries. (wow...)
[*]3 Hollenbeck Burritos from El Tepeyac Cafe, weighing in at five pounds each.
[*]12 bottles of Sriracha Chili Suace
[*]And to ensure that you maintain your newfound inner peace, one copy of YogaWorks for Everybody DVD.
[/list]
He wasn't kidding. That is a good bet.

Play the same way, and I predict a 1-0 victory. Quick is going to stand on his head after shitting the bed in game 2.

...or...

As long as the Hawks have more goals than the Kings at the end of the game.

Isn't he an UFA? What freedom! He holds all the cards because he is the BGITW!

Perhaps he should leave the Rangers and sign with a better team - even if it has to be at a discount - where he can show his true prowess. Supposedly, that's the reason he's the NHL's Dan Marino (the team in front of him).

Now's your chance Henrik!!!!!

Lundqvist has one year left and I am sure he has considered the option of leaving the Rags after next season, depending on how it goes.

I was just being an ass towards Stu when I said Lundqvist was the leagues most over-rated goalie. I obviously believe he is a great goalie who has been stuck on some pretty poorly coached teams. The Rangers may also block a lot of shots but I have never been impressed with their defensive game under Torts either. Im sure a few changes are coming the Rangers way again anyways. And who knows maybe Lundqvist would be a piece they would dangle in a deal for some change (im sure he has a not trade clause to have to wave)? Problem is there is already a pretty good crop of goalies available this off season. Would be in Lundqvists best financial interests to wait it out another season then become one of the huge UFA's. Then the problem is this...are teams really going to be handing out the big goalie contracts anymore in light of all the problems they have created for certain teams the last few years? All interesting stuff.

P.S. the most over-rated goalie in the league in my opinion is Price. Was Fluery before this season but I think now Fluery is no longer rated in anyones mind hehehehehe.

Speaking of, why are there no longer road watches at BWW in the suburbs? Every one I went to was completely packed.

When interviewed after they got knocked out, if he was considering returning, he did not respond right away and his face told you no, with out saying it. HE IS DONE IN NY.
