I still don't understand how some of those NFL guys can play a physical contact sport in sometimes 10 degree or less weather. I would be shivering out there with what they wear even while running around. Is it healthy for your body to be running and sweating in 10 degree weather, or can you even sweat in that weather? How do you guys think you would do trying to play a football game in say 15 degree weather, personally, I couldn't do it.

Which means no excuses for Rodgers or Mitch...the conditions should be impeccable.

Impeccable??? Not so sure about that. Impeccable would be no freeze/thaw temps leading up to game day, there's been a lot of rain lately and who knows if the field has been covered due to the possibility of other events being held there, so the surface could be an issue. Sunny and 40's is good football weather though.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, my knowledge is that it feels kind of good. And yes, you can sweat, but it is limited some. If you're jacked up, like playing a sports game, the cold doesn't really bother you.

Feels better than running around in 70 degree plus weather.

It’s something you can build up a tolerance for over time. The more cold you’re exposed to, the more you can tolerate. There’s actually a scientific explanation. Those who are most often exposed to cold, increase their amount of brown fat which better warms the body and protects from cold weather and also has other health benefits such as protecting from obesity and diabetes.

The whole "Bear Weather" thing is so stupid. Don't bears hibernate during the winter?

Why would you point out that weather conditions make your the animal your favorite NFL team is named after go dormant? Pretty stupid if you ask me.

Its like anything. You do it long enough, it becomes second nature and you get acclimated. I work outside----You would think in the cold you want 10 pairs of socks, but the best is a thin pair. Some of my co-workers wear pantyhose on their feet only

I don’t know about taking the Joe Namath approach with the panty hose but, yeah, generally you do better for yourself by not bundling up.

Seriously, whose with me? Enough of these sissy games in 40-50 degree weather. Bears need some 10 degree games in the snow and sleet to really get their butt in gear. That is when Mitch is going to shine and the offense is going to catch ???

I was thinking more that the cold weather means we can finally put these Bears to sleep and go watch some real football teams instead, but I like the cut of your jib OP.
