Practice happening right now, I'll update this thread when we see how Kero slots into the lineup during line rushes.

Kero wearing No. 67 at practice and centering the third line with Teuvo and Garbutt on his wings.

Everything else remains the same:

Hobgoblin-Toews-Hossa
Panarin-Anisimov-Kane
Desjardins-Kruger-Shaw

I was hoping to see Teuvo on first line, but can't complain about Hob Goblin. I've been impressed with him

Teuvo on first line would be very interesting, but then what becomes of the 3rd line? But knowing Q, we'll see it at some point anyway!

Gustaffson might not play, just be a road safety option and Rozi could be back in a couple weeks. Though hopefully he gets a shot at least to showcase something right now

I'd rather see Gus play instead of rundblad. I got the shakes when I see him pinch in the offensive zone, like great here comes an odd man rush

I can't imagine they would've called up Gus to sit him on the bench or scratch him.

They would call him up for a road trip in case of an emergency/injury/etc

And Tikhinov, while he plays hard....really doesn't bring anything to the table other than being the bff of Panarin

He is what Kopecky was to Hossa

That's the only time he looks good as a player, and he's not some clod not able to get back like Shawn Odonnell or someone who pinches when all 3 forwards are behind the net. Anytime someone takes the Puck downlow behind the net when he is on D that it looks bad

Well they have to have some 7th defenseman on the roster going to Winnipeg. Is there anyone but Gustaffson or Pokka they really could of called up.

that's not true. He has fantastic spacing and sense of play development on offense, and great defensive stick timing.

He is also a bit of a playmaker that can carry the puck deftly up ice situationally, not as tight of spaces as TT(Cherub),Pan, or Kaner, but he is tricky and long, he can impose his will a bit and set people up.

Also, TT is the leader of the third line. As Kane is to second and Toews to first. Those three get PP time and the 1LW spot is more of a hidden contributed. Hobgoblins minutes haven't spiked since promotion, still under 14 I believe most nights. I think I saw an 11. So...keep cycling the farm centers and rotating TT to hold down 3c until playoffs and take some pressure of young Cherub. I'm not thinking Q is in love with this lineup cuz scoring is bad. But if they keep goals off the sheet this way you gotta keep giving these guys what they have earned. The road trip will probably expose this unit if they can't get to scoring.

On Gustofson...I thought he stood out in preseason. Strong, aggressive, and hard shot not afraid to unload or mix it up. He skates like he wants it and is ready for whoever stands in his way.

The flip side being he was a little phrenetic and may be so trying to prove himself for a bit.
