Man, our defensive stats are looking VERY solid after the Rams game:

Defense YPG – 6th
Passing YPG – 6th
Rushing YPG – 6th
Points Allowed – 5th
Turnovers - 1st
I believe we lead the league in sacks too.

I hope we win, but more importantly than that, I hope we can at least look competent and not embarrass ourselves in front of the whole nation again. Hope Tice calls a lot of runs and Jay releases the ball quick.

Should be close,I'll see what develops this week before I can even attempt to guess the score, could swing either way.
Nothing is more important than the W.

If our D can be as effective as Seattle's when they played Dallas, then I think the Bears will win. Could go either way. Depending on the play calling and how well Cutler handles the pressure in the pocket (You can bet there will be plenty) the Bears will win a hard fought close one. BEARS 26 Cowpatties 24 Cutler gets the go-ahead TD drive with under 2 minutes to go, but leaves enough time on the clock for Dallas to possibly score and scaring us all before they finally win.

Two evenly matched teams. The winner of the turnover battle wins the game .

Bush needs to get over 20 carries, Bears D-Line has to keep up the pressure, the receivers (Brandon Marshall cough) need to hold onto catches, and Tice and Bates need to call West Coast type shit with Cutty (roll outs, play action, bootlegs baby). All that happens and the Bears pull out a close one. I'm tempted to create a Facebook just to troll my old Army buddy Cowpoke fans.

I'm kind of excited for this game.

McClellin could show up for this game as Romo likes to run around and extend the play. We'll see.

good fucking god, dallas fans gotta be the worst fans in the nfl. dude at work thinks romo is gonna throw 5 tds against us and he was saying miles austin is just as good of a wr as emmitt smith was a rb. i hope chicago intercepts romo a couple times and cutler plays decent enough to win.

Any time Jerry Jones loses he looks like he's passing a kidney stone and it makes me laugh ( but that's just a fun little sidebar for me ). We have a chance to keep the pressure on the Packers and the Lions , and this team needs the win to keep a positive mojo going , and to get a win against a team that wasn't 2-14 last year. They need to prove something , more to themselves than anything ( or anybody else ). On paper there's more talent on the Bears than the Cowboys .... on paper.

It will be interesting, I doubt they'll approach Romo like Vick. You could see the TE reemerge with Dallas, but again this is mostly about the defense. I'm guessing Romo won't be too much of a Bears fan after Monday.

Bears vs Dallas on Monday night!

After watching a lot of today's pregame shows, it seems that not a lot of people are giving much of a chance for the Bears to go into Dallas and come out with a win. The consensus is that Romo is a much better QB then Cutler and that the Dallas defense will overwhelm the Bears OL.

Obviously, being at home on Monday night is a big advantage for Dallas, but as I see it, both teams defenses have been playing well, and both teams offenses have been playing poorly.

I see the Bears having a huge opportunity to say :flipa: in this game, imo. They will be a huge underdog while not getting a lot of respect so far. I was wondering how all Bears fans felt going into this game? I see this as a really big statement game for the Bears moving forward. I'd also like to hear some things some of you think the Bears should do to get the win.

I'll start with obviously Ware and Spencer will be a huge concern. I'd like to see Spaeth/Davis/Williams line up where Ware is every snap at the start of the game. We cannot allow Ware to get off to a quick start, period. Spencer has been a little banged up so I think Carimi can hang with him hopefully. I'd still like to see some two TE sets with Brady on the right side testing the middle of their defense.

I'd like to see the Bears come out with a well scripted gameplan with a short passing game to start. It will be really hard to run against Dallas without softening the box first, imo. Dallas' CB's are actually their strength, but I'd like to see the Bears try to go deep against them with our size. This will definitely have to be setup.

I'd still like to see Cutler in a no huddle offense as well. This would be a great way to open the game, imo. I do want to see us try hard to get the run game going, however. I do not want to see us give up on it entirely at all. What's some of the things some of you guys want to see the Bears do?

Having said all that, the game could be won on a defensive score, imo, and a big play on ST's could be the difference as well.

If only there was already a thread created for this game...
Oh, you mean the stickied game preview for every weeks game? I see those every week. I guess I was asking the fans on the MB, who could actually give some intelligent imput, of what strategies the Bears could bring to the table to come out of Dallas with a win. I gave a few suggestions I wanted to see. I guess you have nothing.
