Bears vs Dallas on Monday night!
After watching a lot of today's pregame shows, it seems that not a lot of people are giving much of a chance for the Bears to go into Dallas and come out with a win. The consensus is that Romo is a much better QB then Cutler and that the Dallas defense will overwhelm the Bears OL.
Obviously, being at home on Monday night is a big advantage for Dallas, but as I see it, both teams defenses have been playing well, and both teams offenses have been playing poorly.
I see the Bears having a huge opportunity to say :flipa: in this game, imo. They will be a huge underdog while not getting a lot of respect so far. I was wondering how all Bears fans felt going into this game? I see this as a really big statement game for the Bears moving forward. I'd also like to hear some things some of you think the Bears should do to get the win.
I'll start with obviously Ware and Spencer will be a huge concern. I'd like to see Spaeth/Davis/Williams line up where Ware is every snap at the start of the game. We cannot allow Ware to get off to a quick start, period. Spencer has been a little banged up so I think Carimi can hang with him hopefully. I'd still like to see some two TE sets with Brady on the right side testing the middle of their defense.
I'd like to see the Bears come out with a well scripted gameplan with a short passing game to start. It will be really hard to run against Dallas without softening the box first, imo. Dallas' CB's are actually their strength, but I'd like to see the Bears try to go deep against them with our size. This will definitely have to be setup.
I'd still like to see Cutler in a no huddle offense as well. This would be a great way to open the game, imo. I do want to see us try hard to get the run game going, however. I do not want to see us give up on it entirely at all. What's some of the things some of you guys want to see the Bears do?
Having said all that, the game could be won on a defensive score, imo, and a big play on ST's could be the difference as well.
