I already posted this in the 2011 playoffs thread, but this seems like as good a place as any.

Blackhawks Remaining 2011 Schedule:

@ Columbus (4/1)
vs. Tampa Bay (4/3)
@ Montreal (4/5)
vs. St. Louis (4/6)
@ Detroit (4/8)
vs. Detroit (4/10)

each game remaining is basically a playoff game for this team.

Yeah, but it's been that way for the last couple of weeks now, so it shouldn't be anything new to them. They just need to keep their foot on the gas and they should be fine.

Why don't the Preds get enough credit? :dunno:

I hate their style but I give them major props.

They just win despite not having 'elite' talent.

Pekka Rinne is one of the most underrated goaltenders in the NHL.

Preds don't get any credit because they haven't won a playoff series, ever. And, they've had some pretty awful seasons. They deserve some props, but don't deserve major head that you seem to be offering.

Trotz and Poile are a satisfactory combination considering the constraints they have regarding money.

Don't have any elite talent? :slap: Do you not consider Weber and Rinne elite talent? It will be interesting to see how they make things work with Weber, who is a RFA after this season and currently making 4.5 this season. The playoffs could be real interesting in how it all plays out for him.

Rinne is great. If I had to pick one goalie in the league to have, it would be him.

As for the Hawks... seems like they've got the 8 spot pretty locked up. I hope that's how things end up because I'd really like to see a Hawks/Vancouver series. That would be fantastic.

I already posted this in the 'How many games will the Hawks need to win' thread, but I feel this is a more appropriate place for it. It's hard to keep track of all of this shit since there's like 90 different playoff threads going on.

The Stars lost to the Kings earlier today, 3-1. They also have a tough game coming up tomorrow night against the Ducks. If the Ducks can beat the Stars and the Avalanche can pull out a victory at home against the Flames, we could be up by as much as 5 points on the Flames and 7 points on the Stars. Assuming of course we beat the Bolts tomorrow night.

-Impact Games- (April 4th)

Los Angeles at San Jose
After both having Sunday off to rest following victories the previous night, they will square off with the opportunity to solidify their playoff seed. San Jose sits in the 3rd spot currently, only one point behind the Red Wings. LA currently sits tied for the 4th spot and only four point separate the Kings from the Hawks.

Tightest conference race I have seen in awhile. A lot of teams involved. The Flames might be done, as they only have 3 games left.
