We have 23 Cornish Cross Chickens to butcher in about 4 weeks. I've made arrangements to drop off the chickens at a chicken processor on November 13 so wife and I wouldnt have to deal with it . Well she found out and cancelled the appointment , and told me she will do it, maybe 3,4 or 5 a day.
What a woman............. now i'll have extra beer money.

I also added 5 Rhode Island Reds ,plus i have 4 wyandotte/bantaan mix. Hens get too old they go to the dog.

I like the BROTH from layers. Best broth ever.

I have two Bard Rock, great hens. Get 6-7 eggs/week right now from each bird.
