What are you listening to?

Not entirely sure to be honest. I actually helped him out a bit when he interviewed 65daysofstatic.

When they first appeared on the 'scene' I really liked what I heard, although that could have had something to do with where I was living, the state every day was etc etc etc personal life blah. I bought their third album and just turned off from them, I wasn't as enthralled. I haven't heard any of this album, so perhaps I could get my edgy, trendsetting headphones out and give them/the album a go again. I've read the review I'm going to listen to the vid when I have a quiet 5 mins in a bit, family are about now and I can't concentrate.

Maybe not your bag but 'Vessels'? I thought their debut album was pretty good. No idea if they float your boat/genre. No idea if they are even still about.

Anyway, that's about as edgy as I get writing/passing my musical opinion off. After seeing what a friend goes through on a monthly basis in Berlin I couldn't keep up with the trendy/edgy side of music. So many scenes, I was glad to come home to the Cure and the Smiths! ;)

Little edit: I was going to Pos rep you but by all accounts I have #thankbanged too much in the last 24hrs. Ta for that link!

I actually still haven't heard the newest and I've probably missed a few to be honest. Only familiar with the first two. Like you I went off them for a bit and didn't listen to them until that show came up. It was good either way. Ahaha I saw them the first time they were in Chicago and I think it was the drummer I was speaking to, but I drunkenly kept going on about how Brixton is a shit hole. That's the night I got ticketed for public urination and I ditched my then girlfriend at the venue. One too many St. Bernarduses.

I'll check out Vessels debut!

My anthem back in '04, freshman year of college. Ahhhh.... Riding around campus on the Cinelli with a blunt tucked under my skully, earphones in. Really, really miss college on the beautiful spring days.

I've been on a nostalgic kick, listening to a lot of stuff from when I was in high school:

Good job on getting me to listen to over forty minutes of Chumbawamba. There were a few cuts on there I really liked...who knew?

I do know how one single can really get you to write off a band too fast. I'm a huge Blind Melon fan, but all most people remember is "No Rain" and that little bumble bee girl. If that is you...just give them one more chance below.
