you really need to listen to more led then, Zeppelin 1, 2, 3, and 4 are all great. If you like stairway you will be able to see how truly talented they are on some other songs, like Bonzo in Moby Dick

I have to disagree with you, he was very good but what made CSNY sound good was the harmony and Young wrote about deep shit, like ohio.

Clapton
Hendrix
Page
Allman
Richard Thompson(most dont know him ill post a song)

and Joe yea pink floyd rocked.

lol sorry bro but even clapton would laugh at any ranking having him, or anyone, ahead of Hendrix.

I can see people arguin that....I will most definately agree that all of them were great guitar players....Plus you took the words right out of my mouth...Neil Young was a great writer and voice...The thing that stands out the most about CSNY is when there voices are put together acapella...No one, and I mean no one sounds like them...UNIQUE IS HOW I DESCRIBE THEM..AND DEEP..I never get tired of them...

i think he is over rated because what he did skilled but what he did great was make it sounds much harder than it is. if we add Van Halen sort of guitarist, then Satriani would be number one....
