I didn't say it was GOING to happen. Just could. I know what 30% means. 3/10 chance it does happen, 7/10 is doesn't. More than twice the chance it doesn't happen compared to it happening.

I won't be able to watch a Cubs game live until Sun. I work 11-6 on Fri and 8-4 on Sat. Off on Sun. But I will record it because I wana see the ovation for Wood if he does in fact come into the game.

Weak. You should quit, but not before you make a huge scene.

I had to schedule a mock interview for one of my classes. I fucked around and waited til the last minute and had my choice and I just took one of the two without thinking.

Its time: April 1st, 2011 at 2:20 PM EST.

Yeah that was a mistake.

If it gets cancelled, I guess I'll just turn on the Sox game and hope the Cubs game is rescheduled to be a double header on Saturday.

Wow, the schedule makers really should be shot. The pirates start the season off with 10 straight games. How fucking stupid is that?

My guess is that they would make it up September 1st at Wrigley. Both teams have an off day and we play the pirates that weekend.

I know i'm late to the party, but i don't live in Chicago anymore, but i still don't miss opening day. I know baseball is a long season but opening day has always been special. I usually stay home or go to my brothers, we grill out, drink a few few beers, and some friends come over and we watch baseball all day. Always a fun day. Just sit around, talk sports, drink beers, and grill in the chilly temperatures outside.
