Wahiawa, HI/Schofield Barracks, 3 -Hard to count these, because of deployments, both friendly and hostile.
Columbus, GA, 2 -Prolly spent more time deployed than here.
Where I live now, just outside of Joliet, 8 years.

Then a few burbs and temp residency. Considerable short stay(4-8 months) mentions. I only count these, because I actually paid rent to live there.

thank you for your service to our country. What did you think of Vancouver? We visited and didn't like it very much (but do like the Pacific NW in general). Expensive as hell, the folks were kind of snotty and the gastown district was underwhelming, but it was fun to hang out by the harbor and bike around Stanley Island

What did you think of Vancouver?

Actually, you hit the nail on the head. If people think Chicagoans are highly judgmental, go to Vancouver(and if you think that's bad, go to Montreal). The best thing I got out of the whole thing, was that I saw Nirvana perform live, before they released Nevermind.

15 Waterloo/Smithton/Freeburg, IL (Bedroom communities for St. Louis, Mo) I count these all together because they're all by STL, within 15 miles of one another.

6 Eldorado/Marion, IL (Eldorado is a tiny town in So. IL, about 40 min from either Carbondale, IL; Paducah, KY; and Evansville, IN. Marion is right outside of Carbondale)

I loved its accessibility to the Garden of the Gods and other beautiful hiking spots but I hated how fake everyone was.
