Call them what you want, but I'd rather deal with a "meatball" fan than a negative pessimist who always criticizes the players on the teams he/she supposedly roots for.

**** your opinion.. joking. I think deep down you and first timer are bears fans, you just can't come to terms with it because you'd disappoint your Packer fan fathers and grandfathers.
I think a meatball fan is defined by someone who likes the team but couldn't really hold a conversation about the team with anyone other than someone willing to listen to their drivel. Hell I may be a meatball fan. But I know enough about the game to hold good debate.
