What do you think about the players the Bulls signed for the 2010-2011 season?

Atlanta is damn good. Al Horford is really turning out to be one of the best centers in the league. Josh Smith is one of the best defensive players in the league, and Joe Johnson is lights out. Everyone is sleeping on Milwaukee and Atlanta, but both teams could get really hot at the right part of the year, and make a serious run to the finals. Atlanta's problem was consistency in the paint, and Milwaukee's problem was consistency on the wings. One more year for young guys like Horford and Jennings will mean a LOT to how the East is ranked.
I think Horford is a better fit as a PF and there were reports about problems in Atlanta's locker room and Josh Smith being a big part of it.

There is no doubt in my mind that he's a headcase, but a lot of these defensive guys are. All he needs is the right coach, and all of that turns around.
After hiring Drew, "I'm real excited. I know the team is real excited," said Josh Smith, who had an up-and-down relationship with Woodson. "There's definitely a comfort level there. He definitely knows the players. When anybody had problems on the court, we used to go to him for advice. He knows what everybody likes to do." ref

Just a random question about the Heat's "given" NBA title.....

No offense...but why is everyone so hung up on Mike "I'm lazy when I wanna" Miller?

The guy hasn't done shit outside of a decent year with the Griz. How is he such a lock in a tight game when he couldn't (and whined) even manage a decent game with the Timberwolves? lol

The guy is overrated n extremely overhyped. Lol

He will make a 3-ball for the Heat. No doubt...

Thing is, people are too hung up on shit he's never accomplished.

And again, no offense to his personal fans....but he ain't done a damn thing to threaten a team or player. The guy isn't a superstar

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Nebraska Cornhuskers
  2. Villanova Wildcats
Best case scenario...

- 50-55 wins
- Second seed (more likely a third seed)
- Hope that Orlando and Miami beat each other up in the second round
- Not look past Boston

Well... they were last year... I say they will end 6th, but it's not exactly unfathomable that they come in higher.

alot of people are over hyping them imo, mag's is a overrated player they have salmons playing the 2 were he isn't that effective there and is better at the 3. got drew gooden a super inconsistent player and Brandon Jennings cant shoot still.

Bulls>Bucks we will finish with a better record i guarantee it.

You basically know what youre going to have with ATL, unless Al takes another step forward. But Bibby doesnt have it anymore and didnt they fire Woodson?

I definitely dont see MIL being better than us. They did add some quality role players to their team but nothing significant. Maggette and Gooden are good players but Gooden could very well be traded 3 times before next season starts lol and Corey is just a volume shooter/chucker. Im not sold on Jennings either. The kid can score points but his efficiency stinks. His shooter % last season was horrid. They are a playoff team for sure but they dont have our talent.

I see Boston taking a step back. Oneals gonna be their center for a while and he just flat out blows as a starter these days. They lost Tony Allen and the big 3 are another year older. Garnett and Allen will probably see some injury time.

The only teams i really see being competitive are Miami and Orlando and Orlando can very well be worse. Rashard Lewis and VC arent the players they once where.

But its not that i think the other teams are that bad, its just that i think we got that much better. We've solved our outside shooter, inside scoring and depth problems. On top of that, Rose is a rising star and Noah only gets better. I just really like the acquisitions we've made. Health is going to be key.

don't be shocked if the Bulls end up as the 6th seed.

Miami, Orlando, Boston, Atlanta, Milwaukee

:turrible:

we're better than atlanta at every position but SG AND have a better bench. and IMO people often overrate horford. he's a definite starter in this league, but not much more than that. noah is a far superior player to horford, ESPECIALLY on defense. and noah isn't terrible on offense anymore either.

milwaukee obviously isn't anywhere near as good as us. you might say jennings gets another year. but guess what, rose gets another year too, and the third year is the year most players break out too. then we're also better at every position compared to milwaukee except maybe C is a draw.

hell boston probably won't finish ahead of us in the standings because of injury concerns. i think we'll also see they won't care as much about the regular season a la spurs.

plus the heat have an injury prone player in wade, bosh can become injury prone if he has to guard the best big on the team, the bench is injury prone, not to mention not that good. at one time i could see wade, bosh, butler, miller, howard, illgauskas, magloire, and jones all being out. now i think if they hit the playoffs healthy they're relatively unstoppable, but the regular season won't be as dominant as people think IMO.

i just think people don't understand how good we could really be next year. our starting lineup is a top 5 in the league. our bench is a top 5 in the league. we have a top 10 talent in rose and borderline all stars in boozer and noah. then fantastic role players including deng, brewer and the best 3 point shooter in the league. that's the makeup of a championship team. plus we have a nice mix of young players and veterans.

If you guys really think MIL and ATL have no chance of having a better record than the Bulls, you're crazy.

Sure, the Bulls have more upside and could potentially do more damage in the Playoffs. But what if Rose, Boozer, Noah, or Deng got injured for a lengthy period? The Bulls would almost surely fall to the 6th seed.

ATL
-Horford(v), Pachulia
-Smith(v)
-Williams
-Johnson, Crawford
-Bibby, Teague

MIL
-Bogut, Gooden(v)
-Mbah a Moute, Ilyasova
-Maggette, Delfino
-Salmons, Redd
-Jennings

CHI
-Noah, Thomas, Asik
-Boozer, Gibson
-Deng, Korver(v), Johnson
-Brewer, Watson(v)
-Rose
