I know we don't have much cap space to work with, but its nice to dream! Who are some of the players still available that you want to see the Bears acquire. For me its:

1. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR- I like him as a short to intermediate guy in Nagy offense. He would compliment Arob well and gives the offense an option for YAC plays.
2. Chris Carson RB -- He probably doesn't want to share touches with Montgomery and Cohen. But I could see him and Monty be a great 1-2 punch breaking tackles and wearing defenses down.
3. Desmond King CB - Would be a really nice option at slot corner to replace Skrine. He's not to far removed from being a standout player with the Chargers.
4. Keanu Neal SS - He has been through some season ending injuries, but is young and played serviceable when on the field. He could be cheap, low risk-high reward type option.
5.DaQuan Jones, DT, - I loved this guy coming out of college and he played really well for the Titans. Very underrated player. Stout and good run stuffer. Would be a great add to the mix, especially if we have to part with Hicks.

Arob is as good as gone

Off the top of my head, Desmond King or Brian Poole.

At this point just stop redoing contracts or making trades that will make the future more painful than it already is shaping up to be

Desmond King or Will Fuller.

We have no cap space so I doubt anything actually gets done.

The OT market does not do a lot for me right now.

At this point my jay cutler meter is full no fucks given. Agree with Windy though, they have enough to sign their rookie pool and buy some chiclets.

Just a question - Would you cut Fuller and sign a cheaper CB replacement? I know people were freaking out when they thought signing Dalton indirectly made cutting Fuller a thing to save the $11M. I'm wondering if some of you are willing to part with Fuller if you can get a younger/cheaper replacement?

At this point our backs are up against the wall and we need to start allocating money towards the offense. It would be a shame to be forced to outright cut him. You think some team would be interested in making a trade for him with an agreement to restructure and extend.

But cutting him outright? That would be a fail of epic proportion! It would very a sign of complete and utter mismanagement of the cap and would make Bear fans hate the Dalton signing even more. It would mean we have no other choice but to do so.

Otherwise, no, you don't just cut him and replace. Even if it means you are able to add a decent piece on offense. Because you would be forfeiting a nice comp pick as well if you met him walk in the future.

I honestly don't care or want anyone. Wilson was the only hope at saving this regime. Now we get back to status quo of hoping this team completely shits themselves into cleaning house. But even then, something tells me old George doesn't have the brains or balls to do what is truly right for this franchise.

Bears fucked this thing up in a huge way. There's nobody left available on the free agent market that improves their stock. Their only hopes come from trades or the draft now.

There are dozens of players still available that would improve the Bears.

Seriously. A literal TON of talent on there.

And a lot of those guys will sign for a lot less than their worth due to every team having cap restrictions. I doubt the bears sign anyone right now, more so wait till things calm down to give out a contract or two below market value.
