I'd give him a solid B. Hiring Steverson was a coup. Bringing Garcia, Abreau, and Gillespie in was excellent. I deduct a lot of points for what he didn't do pitching-wise. He let them go into the season with a pathetic bull-pen and a bunch of guys who pretended to be starting pitchers.
But it takes some time to re-build a terrible team and Williams allowed this team to get old, slow, and boring. So Hahn gets a solid B from me.

i think he will make more of a stamp on this team come the offseason. abreu,eaton,avi are his guys and i think adding a starter and a guy like vmart will make this hahns team and his grade should go up.
to get 3 pitchers from a month of dunn and beckham is pretty good too even though de aza has 1 more year left it was time for a change for him as well.

but than how can you stroke everything theo is doing with the cubs when he has never inherited such a mess,knocked it down and is trying to build it up.

I dont think I have giving the Cubs any type of grade. Im excited they signed Lester. Montero was an ok move. Hammel seems like a solid move. They gave the Marlins an A+ grade one off season and that blew up. Im not saying this to knock what Hahn has done. I am just saying you have to wait and see. Its the same reason I dont like judging a teams draft. It has to translate. He put yall in better position. This I have never disagreed with. I like the Shark move. The Melky move was ok. Laroche was a pretty good move. I think Robertson will never come close to that contract. Productive off season by yall.
