I'm not being a smart-ass. I'm just reminding you guys that Carmelo Anthony never wanted to play for the Bulls, so talking about him being here is pointless. But, you know, since you guys seem to never be wrong about anything, keep forging ahead. Let's beat keep beating a dead horse.

Well I'm just going to keep reminding you that you can't read.

You done blabbering on about nothing?

I read the links. You still didn't answer my question -- Is Carmelo Anthony for Deng, Gibson, and the no-longer-in-a-Bulls-uni James Johnson a viable trade, in your opinion? Look back at all the assets the Knicks gave up to acquire him.

Anthony trade

And, once again, please show me what kind of package the Bulls could've put together, in comparison to this trade, that could've enticed the Nuggets to send him to us without bringing in other teams? To recap the article, since my reading comprehension is constantly coming under fire -- the Knicks gave up four young players, a first-round draft pick, plus two additional picks and money from Minnesota to get the deal done. Yes, I understand the Nuggets also sent over some players, but just like a potential one-to-one trade, it was done to match salaries, not add value.

You still haven't made a viable point -- from a basketball standpoint, why would have Denver chosen Chicago over the Knicks? There's not a chance in hell we would've been willing to give up that much for somebody not named LeBron James or Kevin Durant.

No you didn't,

If you had there is no way you would have posted this:
And would'ja believe that every single one of them has them Bulls trading away... get this.... TWO OF THEIR FOUR BEST PLAYERS AND AT LEAST TWO ROLE PLAYERS FOR CARMELO AND CAP FODDER

Not sure. Ask Denver.

Not sure. Ask Denver.

That's hard for me to believe, since you have to express your opinion on everything. And I'd assume that since Denver didn't entertain a trade from the Bulls (at least, I never recall one being reported), it's safe to say that they didn't, either.

I'm not the one acquiring Luol Deng's bum ass so I can't say. Of course I'd love for Denver to accept that deal.

You're a fucking Special person.

If we are to believe reports the Bulls and Nuggets were going back and forth over if the Bulls were going to include Noah or Deng. So to me that would constitute "entertaining" trade talks. Unless the two teams were just entertaining trade talks with ESPN's trade machine for fun.

grandma had nuts? She'd be grandpa :rimshot:

Let me ask this, if Melo wasn't going to sign an extension when he was traded to the Bulls, would people still want to pull the trade off?

Now you are saying Denver didn't "entertain" a trade from the Bulls??

Your recall skills and internet search skills are beyond awful. Yet your tone is almost snide. Unbelievable.

I never said that. What I'm saying is I don't recall it ever being "news" that the Bulls and Nuggets were deep in trade talks. We'd all be foolish to think that GMs aren't kicking tires all the time on potential deals. Shooting the shit about a trade and being on the phone getting ready to sign the dotted line are two completely different things.

I guess we have a difference of opinion when it comes to the term "entertain". You think its "deep in trade talks"...I think its "discussing a trade".

And that's fine, buddy. Different strokes to move the world.
