Nate Stidham threw for 350 today in his first start... is he better than Fields? Mike White threw for over 400 in his first ever start... is he better than Fields? There are countless other trash ass quarterbacks who have thrown for 300+, why is that the benchmark?

You guys seriously don't think Fields knows how to play quarterback? The same dude who beat Trevor (Qb Jesus) Lawrence at the Elite 11 QB Camp in high school? The same one who threw for over 3,400 yards with 41 touchdowns/3 interceptions his sophomore year in college?

He's not a random project receiver whose been playing quarterback for three years, he's been doing this his whole life and he's been ELITE at throwing the ball. He's not even really a runner, he never ran for more than 450 yards in college.

He's a young quarterback in the NFL, obviously he makes mistakes. My biggest issue with him is ball security and trying to aim his throws rather than letting them go. But he's clearly not the main problem here.

If you can't see that and if you refuse to acknowledge the progress he's made then you have a problem with the man himself.

Multiple former QBs who break down film tell us that he can play QB.

Forgive me for not being sold on the arguments made by internet cavemen that consist of "box score" and "box score".

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I couldn't believe the wrs were walking their routes either. I was appalled
I’m more surprised that people on this board spend significant time to create a mock draft, and there results are not addressing the wide receiver position, even with their free agent signings. Fucking dummies!!

Wait...you don't like;:

6 games
2 games missed
12 catches for 110 yards
1 rush for 4 yards
1 fumble lost
1 year left on contract
......
For pick #33
Trade was ridiculously bad.

I'm not ready to write it off yet. Yes, it's been disastrous so far but I firmly believe this trade was made for next year.
Does it work out? I have no clue. I’m at min pleased Poles had the foresight to try and get some WR help knowing there wasn’t going to be shit available in FA and addressing that many needs in the draft would be impossible.

Claypool is a big bodied guy who has been productive in the nfl before. We’ll see what he looks like next year

Clay Cesspool is a complete waste of a draft pick I have zero faith in Poles at this point he has only shown that he knows how to tear a team down his draft and trades look like shit so far

His wr track record is pretty scary

Pettis fa
St Brown fa
Pringles fa
Vjj used 3rd rounder
Harry traded 7th rounder
Claypool traded higher of 2nd rounder

In year 1; he's pretty damn close to a 0% hit rate for in season productivity AND future asset
