Exactly. While I don't think either of them could have beaten Oregon or Auburn, the whole Non-Aq thing is just dumb.

They aught to just take the top 32 teams from the Nat'l Rankings and do a bracket style, single elimination playoff.

Then all the other "no one gives a shit about bowls" should continue as normal.

Or just make it a field of 64... but I don't think there are that many football teams worth watching in the NCAA.

The way I interpret this question, leads me to break down the odds of an individual participating on the winning team.

The larger the active player list is, the easier it is to bring a ring.

Then I look at the cap spaces and how much opportunity teams have to bring in key players.

Honestly, I can't see how Baseball is not the easiest sport to win a Championship in of the major 4. Because you can talk about difficulty, endurance, contact, ect, but that's a push. It's still a level playing field and everyone plays by the same rules.

Actually they don't play by the same rules. Every park is different and the DH is in only one league.

More teams do do it. That is why only 8 teams or whatever have won a championship. They are all loaded and buy championships.

There is no way the NBA is the hardest to win. The reason there has only been 8 franchises to win it since whenever is because there is NO parity.

The NBA is the only league where the better team wins 90% of the time. There are only like 5 viable contenders each year. The league is weak as a whole and always has been.

The NHL and MLB are neck and neck to me. You have to work your ass off to win the Cup but its difficult to make the playoffs in MLB.

I'll vote the NHL though. If you win you paid the price.

This question is so hard when you don't have any modifiers to what your really asking.

If you mean from being in team in the playoffs to winning I would have to go with Hockey. From the start of the season I still would but NFL/MLB are close because in many cases, staying healthy- which can be so random, is key. I think the point system in the NHL makes it easier for teams.

From building a team from scratch I would say the NBA. That's because of the lack of parody, and the fact that you need a star player and pieces around to support him to win almost in all cases. You have to get lucky to be able to get a star player to come to your or get drafted by you. NFL/MLB/NHL you can build your team up with collecting talent in a few years but NBA most of all it does you jack squat if you get no great talent.

I'd assume NHL has the lowest seed average in it's championship winners so that would systematically take my vote.

NBA is the easiest.

Heat went from middle of the road team in the east to the champion team in the east.

They completely overhauled their roster in one year.

Name another sport where you can change your roster that fast.

Having only 8 different teams win in the last 30 years just shows that there isn't much parity. There's so much wrong with this I don't even know where to start.

MLB- No salary cap, thus meaning every team can spend as much as they want. Doesn't mean it's easy to win. When you play 162 games and only 4 teams from each league make the playoffs, nowhere close to being easiest.

NHL- 16 teams make the playoffs--same amount as the NBA. To win the Stanley Cup, you need a lot of things to bounce your way, puck included. Not easy by a long shot.

NFL- One and done, so one bad game and you're out.

NBA- Look at the Heat. Bought a championship this year. Lakers have done the same in the past few years, Boston did as well. NBA is the easiest of the four and it's not even close.

NBA easily. Get rid of all your good players. Sign all d-leaguers. Win the draft lottery, get a guy like Wall or Griffen and then have all the money in the world to lure other big name free agents. Cake.

The NHL has the same amount of teams in the playoffs but the difference is that any playoff team can beat you in a series. Very seldom does that happen in the NBA.

Also, the NHL playoff teams are almost always very good teams. They don't have sub .500 teams making the playoffs each year.
