What is your favorite cut of steak and seasoning? Also if you're in the Chicago land area where do you go to get your steak?

One evening, Taco went into his parent’s bedroom to ask his dad to read him a bedtime story. He found his parents boning on the bed. His dad said: "go to your room and I will be there soon". Twenty minutes later, Taco's father went to his room where Taco was boning his grandmother. Taco's father said: "what the hell are you doing"? Taco replied "it's not so funny when it's your mother"!

This is quoted for truth. Some of the best steak houses in America only use salt and pepper. As far as a cut, I'll go with New York Strip.

they also got top quality beef to work with.....most also age they beef.. some even hit the butter or butter/herb gloss at the end.. so more notes aside from just salt and pepper...

shit you buy in the store can be suspect quality... well especially in oz.

the last place i worked at got shit straight from da abattoir.. it wasnt aged.. but da shit was guud enough..

The second picture in the OP kills me. I have no problem with maybe throwing in some coffee rub, but if it's a good cut of meat I don't know why you would sully it with anymore more than salt and pepper.

Rib eye and Prime rib are the same cut of meat.

A T-bone is saw cut and includes both the strip and the tenderloin

lol, you’d have an aneurysm if you saw my dad cook a steak.

I live a long way from the rest of my family so this is second hand but my cousin was running the grill at a family function and had to leave my dads steak on the grill for an extra 20 fucking minutes.

That may be sacrilegious but I think we can all agree that steaks should never been cooked more than medium-rare (an internal temperature of 135 degrees F) or with ketchup how Donald Trump like his steak.

In before Crys: if you need to put so much seasoning on your steak, you don't know what you're doing.

Salt and pepper.

I do salt pepper and a little bit of oil... And yes I fork my steak before cooking.
