Whats the favorites in your jean rotation?

Not going to lie, I had most of my jean collection established since high school 20some years ago. Everything I like seems to have been replaced 4x times over with some cheaper quality fabric or new pattern but keeping the same name. Or worse, jeans are denim to me, and denim is cotton. Seeing a lot of pants that are a hybrid of jeans and leggings, but are 20-80% blends of cotton and some other shit. Just my preference, when I want jeans, I don't want to buy non-jeans just because some non-creative marketing firms don't know how to market their fabric blend. /rant

been loyal to my Levi's all my life.

This whole search for good jeans started because Levis discontinued the ones I really love. Seems like a lot of people run into this problem and wind up calling some special numbers at a Levi's help desk somewhere, and they'll tell you numbers of variants, and whether they exist elsewhere in the world. Very strange setup. But I might need to give that a try.

Does she buy your shirts too? If so, may I suggest this one.

I don't think you can be whipped if you're married.

Levi's. But you have to buy them in person because depending on where they were manufactured the sizes and quality vary a shit load.

Anyone have an alternative to Levi's? Because their quality has gone to shit and I don't want to give them my money now that I think about it.

I buy jeans that fit nicely from Kohls, I've yet to have a problem with this approach.

I've had a lot of luck with ... no pun, Lucky Brand. Better than new Levis from my experience.
...However, that changes drastically if you find vintage made in the USA Levis. That's a whole different league.

Some of the old methods to break in and add wear to new jeans are harsh on the workers. If they just made it to the same pattern and stitches, I think some people would be happy to break in their own jeans through work and wear.

I'm in that buy a decent pair of jeans from kohl's cateogry too. I dislike the super cheap ones like walmart faded glory but anything next level up that fits the way I like is good enough.

Since I've adopted the minimalist lifestyle, I've gotten rid of a lot of jeans. I own two pairs. Once that I wear for going out, and one that I wear for work around the house.

EDIT: Both are pair of Old Navy Jeans, $25 for each. The work around the house jeans I've had for 2 years. The nice pair I've had for 2 months. Once the nice pair starts wearing down, I'll do the $25 swap.

I've always gotta Levi's (haven't bought jeans in a while), but I have a pair of Wranglers that aren't too bad. Might be worth checking them out.

I still wear jeans I've had for years, they're quality and the fit like a glove. Can't wear them presently due to my boil but that's another story. But yes I feel you, I hate the quality of jeans these days. My favorite pair is a nicely worn pair of GAP jeans, starting to get a hole in the crotch though, sadly.
