What makes someone a fan?

Right... lol. Yes I truly understand the mentality of a "fan" that follows the Cup favorite every year. I will stick to the fact that it is complete crap when someone likes a team simply because they are the favorites. Devils... then the Wings... then the Pens... Please how can you call yourself a fan. You aren't a team fan... You simply like hockey. Nothing bad about that... You are a supporter.

Exactly. I hate those people. Mainly because whenever you bring your team up, and it's not one of those, they remind you that "their" team just won the Stanley Cup. Than a year later, they're fans of another team. Good order you put those teams in too btw. That's exactly right. IT went NJ-DET-PIT- and now.. CHI.
