What measures need to be taken by ccs before the Bears actually play their first game of the season?

This is a thread for real time constructive, actionable ideas from the community, for the community.

Things have not been going very well this offseason for this forum. People can be negative all they want and blame covid, the vax, politics, mass shootings and custom diy bookshelves all day, but that gets us nowhere.

I want solutions or at least an attempt at some sort of positive suggestions and belief that we can be better this year. Not the bears, but us, the ccs people.

Sure you can say that @Rush has done some pretty terrible things with the ads, the mods sometimes fail to moderate posts that don't get reported, Omeletpants keeps getting to come back after dozens of permanent bans, and one time they merged a few dozen of my mock draft threads for this season into some thread from several years ago.

But none of this moves us forward or gives us hope.

If you don't have some positive constructive actionable real time stances on whats good and how we make it gooder, this thread is not for you.

Prove me wrong.
Ads lol you mean when I visit the ads site, I get prompted for Bears content ? This is fucking ridiculous. It's worse than pornhub.

I want to know why videos on sites that autoplay, that I didn't ask for, even exist at all. the picture-in-picture video ad shit is apparently a thing again here.

maybe Spartan has a point though. if you ban all the "HHM alts" maybe they won't need as many ads to operate then?

Ok, this is actually not a bad thread idea if it wasn't made solely to throw shade at me, but I'll play along.

1. Try to mend whatever disconnect there is with the coaching staff and Tevin Jenkins. We need to see how he stacks up and if he can find a role in the starting 5. It would be a massive loss if so.

2. Bears need to scour team's depths chart for LB help. One guy I'm interested in looking into includes AJ Johnson from the Broncos. He is coming off injury, but has been a productive player for Denver the last 2-3 seasons. If we could find a way to get him, Roquan and Morrow on the field together we would have a a hard hitting, fierce trio out there .Another guy I'd be willing to take a waiver on and see how it works out is Joe Schobert. I get he is somewhat trending down. But the expectations aren't really high here. He just has to fill in the gaps. Has plenty of experience, was once a pro bowler, and is on the right side of 30. Low risk/medium reward.

Also, what about knocking the tires on Jaylon Smith. He looked a little stiff last time I watched him. But he is still young and could bounce back. Might be worth a shot. What could it hurt?

3. Still feel the need to upgrade at WR. Mooney, Pringle, VJJ, Harry, St.Brown feel like the top 5. You can stash Dazz Newsome on the practice squad.

The last 6th spot could be between Taje Sharpe, David Moore, and Dante Pettis...all guys who you wouldn't sweat cutting as you could either put them on PS or resign them off the street.

Will Fuller is still available, but feel his asking price may be much and he may still be holding out for the perfect situation for him, that or to either play with Watson again. But if we can make it work, he is an upgrade over most of our guys.
Of course this thread is about you,

just like everything else.

Perhaps this thread is about the multitude of posters that feel that way which by definition means it's not.

When I first came to this board there was a lot more serious football talk. I love the Bears and came here to broaden the information available to me as I don’t live in Chicago. How sad is it when someone needs to include in their post title “serious discussion only”.
I would suggest an immediate and permanent ban of anyone posting bullying or belittling responses to posts. It is obvious that there are many members whose small egos, small intellects, and hateful dispositions can’t handle the privilege of membership on this forum.

Immediate and permanent banning seems not very zen imo.

The problem is that people are idiots. There's nothing you can do about it. It's a common thread through society. Society is literally getting dumber.

Stop acting like a little kid it’s just a message board. Anytime you feel hurt cause of a fan message board there are larger issues than a “troll”. Maybe see a therapist or turn off your phone to all social media. Then there is this function on this forum for message board pussies like @Black Rainbow

Good luck. Maybe seek help.

Yeah, like you can afford a 4.99 subscription to do your best Craig Gabriel impression.
