The Goooooooooooooch!
I don't think Vizquel was worthless, but totally agree on the others.
Maybe another shot for Scotty Pods? Third time is the charm.

Pretty sure the Sox never signed Griffey or Ramirez, they traded for them. The ones he did sign the past couple of years Andruw Jones, and Vizquel were serviceable for the team.
Fukudome. KW can't help himself. For the money, it's not a bad signing, but still...smh.
There's always a bright side though. He'll take more than three pitches to make an out, most of the time. He'll get on base around .350 or better over the course of the season. And he's a defensive upgrade over whatever you guys already have. But he's also a year older so that last part might no longer be true.
Definitely improves defensively. I'm not upset with him coming over; it's great value. I just don't understand it.
If the Sox are rebuilding, it doesn't make any sense because why would you make a signing like that?
If they're not rebuilding, how is he going to get the Sox closer to a championship? He is not going to help offensively (an area where the Sox need a lot of help). Sure, he gives depth in the outfield, but that alone is not going to help the Sox win the division.
This is a typical KW move that makes no fucking sense.
1 million dollars. low risk high reward. he did bad with the indians but was fine with the cubs.
It's the "he did bad with the indians" part that I am struggling with more than anything...
its a million dollars...who cares!
