I was 100% wrong on Frolik. I felt so good about him being here for a full season. What a let down.

Brunette, even though he's been solid, his offensive numbers aren't where they should be, I was expecting higher

"he's young and he scored 20 goals twice on a bad team"

That was said so much it may as well have been Frolik's middle name. Hopefully that tag line will be enough to get another team to take him.

I was partially wrong on Carcillo. I assumed he'd be a complete bust. Instead we got a helpful, flexible, entertaining player that even had flashes of smart offensive hockey. And then he ended his season with yet another suspension + major injury. Not a complete bust but he's absent in the most important part of the year. Not good.

+1

I also thought Crawford would be a good replacement for Niemi.

Crawford..thought he would be more clutch
Frolik...lack of scoring also kept me off guard
Mayers...thought he would be less effective than he actually is
Montador...expected better from a guy that got a 4 year contract

Yeah I would have to say I was higher on Crawford. So far my list of 100% wrong is:

Carcillo
Frolik
Crawford

Still to be determined:
Stalberg- which my main arguement is the top 6 thing. But as a cheap player with his skill set (speed) He isnt that bad to have
Brunette-Still dont see the abundance of board battles, I did see in the beginning of the season more net presence but that has stopped (either his own doing or coaching strats) My whole issue with the signing was regression due to age which might be showing this year.

I guess we will see after this year is over where they finished, I hope for the hawks sake they can play hero and prove me wrong.

I was wrong on Brunette, I thought he would actually add an interior offensive presence. Outside of the first 3 weeks, he hasn't done that.

I was wrong with Carcillo. I knew he would make Special person penalties, which he proved, but I thought he would be more of a physical presence.

Crawford, Keith, Seabrook... I could see them sucking from 10 miles away.

Frolik, Bickell, Bolland--> thought they would make a great #3 line this year. Wrong
Stalburg --> for his price, his production has been excellent; I hated them resigning him. Wrong
Crawford --> expected him to be a near-All Star player. I traded Quick on my fantasy team since I was so confident of Crawford. Oops- at least I was right in picking up Halak. I also drafted Ovechkin over Stamkos. How am I still battling for the playoffs?
Montador --> thought he'd be better
Emery --> better than expected

Nobody else has really surprised me.

I've loved Kruger the min he got here & watched some video of him playing in Sweden.

Guy is a fucking wizard defensively, already. Needs to bulk up a tad more & get better in the circle.

I'll say Jamal Mayers. I said he was done. I ate crow.

Probably the best acquisition of all the 1 yr contracts.

BTW, I would've added CarBomb had he not taken out himself & Gilbert.

That's just one play, sample size (though his entire Hawks sample size is small as well).

I didn't think Stalberg would be this good, expected double digits, didn't expect shit from Hayes or Shaw.

Didn't think Crawford would suck this badly. Frolik too.
