The Bears should build their offense around Cohen not Fields. He has elevated the one yard and run out of bounds play into an art form. SUPER BOWL!
All seriousness aside...they should just cut him and move on.

If we cut him who is going to fill the role of running straight to the sideline for a 1 yard gain?

there is little to any trade value....I'd play him. line him up in the slot at times.

I would sit him down and have a very frank talk to be sure he is all in mentally, fully recovered from injury tell him to stop running out of bounds, give him some reps in the slot as well or he's history - you're playing for your career. If he produces with him and Monty, Herbert, Dazz they can create some havoc. He has no trade value now but could later.

If I am reading his contract right, you only save about 2 million by cutting him. If you really need the extra cash, so be it.

Otherwise I give him another year in what will be a completely transformed offense from his perspective. If he can produce, give him a team friendly extension. If not, good luck elsewhere in 2023.

He's not going to be "running" with coach.

He's gone.

His contract size was questionable at the time he resigned for the value he provided. Herbert coming in pretty much makes him disposable. I don't think there is any reason to hold onto him and hope his multi-year recovery brings him back in some type of better form than he was before.

I guess the bears could start a semi pro COD gaming squad, featuring Cohen..

Dude hadn’t played in 2 years and his greatest asset was speed/shiftiness…. Doubt he’s anywhere close to who he was.
