The Bench Mob vs. Who?

Miller and Jones. If they are hot, nearly impossible to beat. Bulls did a great job closing on those 2 this season.

Lucky for us Miller has been hot probably two games this whole season. The guy is not their physically or mentally.

Jones a poor mans Kyle Korver. Chalmers and Anthony are key.

Do you all really think players are going to want to sign with a team so hated? I know that may sound like a stupid question, but if they don't win this year. Teams with more cap & less hate would be much more appealing I would think?

From what I am also hearing many, many of the owners hate what the Heat have done, so they might be unwilling to help them in any trades.

Let me be clear these aren't things I believe these are theories that I will be looking closely at in the off-season.

Teams may not like them but moronic, going nowhere teams like the Timberwolves will do whatever it takes to become better. After James agreed to sign with the Heat, they were the dumbasses who decided to trade for Beasley, opening up i think 5 Million for the Heat to sign role players.

But what other GMs thinks of the Heat really doesnt matter. The only players they have that have trade value are all guys theyre going to need to keep. Where they will try to improve their team is through free agency.

And yes, players will join them, hated or not. They want rings. Wade and LeBron have a lot of friends around the league. Guys are drooling to get a piggy back ride from these guys. Haslem for the second time took a cut in his contract to stay and play with Wade, he could have gotten more money elsewhere.

If players did have any pride, they would join teams like the Bulls, Thunder. Young teams with humbled talent who will contend for titles.

We may not win game 2. But note what I said. The Heat had 2 choices. One was to leave the starters in vs. the bench. Now we have 5 minutes left in the game and the Heat are GASSED vs. a very fresh Bulls starting core....

I want to reiterate the point of this thread.

We had this game. What caused us to lose it...I argue that the referees giving D-Wade 6 minutes to close his cut on his elbow (aka allowing the big three to catch their wind) was about 70% of the reason why we lost. No way LeBron scores 9 of their last 12 without that 6-minute break. The big 3 were GASSED. Wade in particular.

Maybe they just need to invent 6 minute timeouts, and the Heat will never lose again. Spoelstra will play the bench to start the 2nd quarter, and the Big Three will come back in for the last six minutes of the first half, all of the third, and Spo can use the 6-minute timeout half way through the fourth and the Heat will win the NBA title convincingly.
