I never really understood the wine or beer crowd. I drink to get buzzed. I have never had wine or beer that I would drink if it was non alcoholic just for the taste. So I pretty much just drink the cheapest shit available.

The only thing I'm picky about is Vodka and only because Tito's doesn't give me that hangover feeling like a lot of the cheap vodka does

I like craft beer because quite honestly I only have to have a couple to get a little buzz, where it takes like 8 coors lights to do that.

As far as Tito's that is great Vodka, I would also recommend Tower Vodka, one of my favorites, also made in Texas 6 times distilled. Just as good as Titos but a little less expensive per 1.75.

ABQ, Denver, and Grand Rapids have the best craft scenes going.

Haven't been to Grand Rapids, but lived in Northern Co for a bit and it was crazy up there. Since moving back to ABQ it is absolutely exploded down here. We have some of the best beers I have ever had period. If someone wanted to go on a craft beer vacation Denver and Burque are only 6 hours apart, you could spend a couple weeks between the two and never go to the same brewery twice.

What are some sustainably sourced Brewing companies out here in Colorado where I am?

Hops are native to the mountains in this region...it could be a good place to look for a new source of american beer as we are now growing so many hops in the rockies.

I really like Lefthand Brewery, Yeti, and Oscar Blues but do not know the sourcing and ownership histories.

Pretty sure that New Belgium is really into that as I think they are solar powered, also I think Odell used to be that way, not so sure now as they have gone national.

I would look at some of the smaller breweries, Lots of time the smaller ones are more apt to try to source locally.

When I saw the New Belgium facility 6 years ago, it was impressive. Just happened to be on business in Loveland, and low and behold, my favorite national beer (Fat Tire) had their brewery a hop skip and jump away with walk in tours. So did Celestial Seasonings about 15 minutes away, that one wasn't as interesting.

I lived in Milwaukee for a year, and everyone made me go see all the brewery tours back then. That was impressive as well, but those were 12 years before and obviously the best ones have the older charm.

Yup, hometown and why I was so disheartened by the Wicked Weed buy out. I'm in there at least once a week, Sour beer facility. Umm, and it is Asheville, you forgot the E. Asheville is approaching 32,000,000 gallons of beer produced annually. It is the water.
