Line up with Pena, with our current team:

Fuku
Castro
Rami
Pena
Byrd
Soriano
Soto
DeShitt
Pitcher

You could swap Soto and Soriano, but I see Quade being a dumbass and putting Soto behind Soriano.

You forgot to remove Fuku and replace him with Colvin. And yes having DeShitt at 2B absolutely sucks. Need to find 2B that can lead off. Colvin shouldn't bat leadoff either so who knows what will happen there.

He wants Kosuke to start over Colvin. For some reason, he hates Colvin.

First off, he prefers Fuke over Colvin b/c Colvin is overrated by Cubs fans, he's got some pop, but his arm is average and his plate discipline is terrible.

Also, I agree, Fuke will find a new home before ST.

Is there a punch line to this? I'm sorry, boys, there's just nothing to be optimistic about this season. =/

I like the thought of Byrd and Castro at the top.

Something like

Castro
Byrd
Pena
Rami
Soto
Sori
Colvin
Dewitt

Would be nice to see.

I would build it though like

Castro
Soto
Pena
Rami
Sori
Byrd
Colvin
Pitcher
Dewitt.

Soto
Soriano
DeWitt or Baker
Pitcher

but i'm not sure if I want Rammy infront or behind Pena in the lineup yet

Pena's always been a 4-5 hitter. That could change, but I'd leave him in one of those slots if I had the choice.
