Pena's always been a 4-5 hitter. That could change, but I'd leave him in one of those slots if I had the choice.

With him being left handed I ll be surprised to not see him in the 3 hole. Rami has always been the 4 hitter, and I dont think they will hit him 5 being so close to Colvin. Unless Colvin hits 2 which would be a big mistake.

The funny thing about Pena is he's the left handed version of Soriano at the plate...He can absolutely carry us from time to time, and he'll disappear for 3 weeks at a time. If they stagger their hot streaks (which, if course can't be planned) the Cubs have a shot to be above average. I'm not saying they're going to be feared by many teams...but, I mean, the NL-C is full of powerhouses.

Well, I hope Pena and Soriano are hot while the other one is cold then, rather than having them both cold at the same time.

Or would it be better to have them both hot and cold at the same times as each other?

why would you bat fuku ahead of soto?

Meh, they're almost interchangeable, imo...Both are high OBP guys...which is what I would prefer in front of Soriano...only reason Fuku gets the nod is b/c I like the LRLRLR middle of the lineup. But I can understand arguments for the other way around.

I would rather have fuku high in the linuep then low since hes more patient put him in leadoff castros a 2 batter not leadoff and byrd can leadoff or bat 3rd imo

Fuku won't be in the lineup even if he stays. Colvin was made a starter and they aren't sending him back behind Kosuke. Colvin will probably be on the bench when Jackson comes up though.
