Whats next for the Bears after selecting Shea McClellin. The following is a list of the 10 best players available.

The top 10 draft prospects available after round one | ProFootballTalk

Best Available for Day 2, NFL Draft - DraftCountdown.com

There are still a ton of OL and DL talent available.

2[50] C Peter Konz [Wisconsin] 6'5" 315lbs.

I didn't think he would go in the 1st round and with a bunch of OT in front of him as well as Cordy Glenn and Amini Silotulo he may fall a little more. Konz can step in day 1 and provide the Bears with an upgrade at center and move Garza back to his better position at RG. Konz is similar to McClellin he is a hard working lunch pale type player.

3[79] WR Marvin Jones [Cal] 6'2" 200lbs.

A smooth polished WR with big hands he provides another reliable target and would allow Earl Bennett to stay in the slot where he is the most dangerous.

4. CB Jayron Hosley [Virginia Tech] 5'10" 195lbs.

The Bear take advantage of a player with good football ability and limited common sense after failing a drug test at the combine. I think Hosley is a very good fit for our Cover 2 defense and he tackles well. The Marijuana thing may drop a nice value into our laps.

5. TE Adrien Robinson [Cincinnati] 6'4" 265lbs.

A big athletic target that can come in and provide depth behind the unproven Kellen Davis.

6. LB Sammy Brown [Houston] 6'1" 242lbs.

A guy with a similar body type to Briggs and the speed to play the WLB position down the road.

7. DT Tony Jerod-Eddie [Texas A&M] 6'4" 312lbs.

A big run stuffing body that can work into the rotation. At the Senior Bowl he showed he can handle playing top competition.

Someone not on this list that i wouldnt mind having is janoris jenkins. Doubt they'll go that route though since he has trouble in his history after that sam hurd debacle last season.

This. I don't think Jenkins slips to us though, as much as I'd love him too.

Should we grab Adams or Martin if they're there? I don't think they would be game breakers but they have to be better than Ja'Marcus, right?

This is who the Bears should take & I swear this has nothing to do with us being acquaintances.

With the DE and WR needs addressed, I think we should address DB (either CB or S) in the third

I expected one yesterday, WR's are useless when they don't have time to finish routes. Sounds like Halas Hall thinks Mike Martz is to blame for the poor OL performances. But alas, it wasn't the lack of talent but rather "the way they were being used".

As much as i feel like we need to upgrade the offensive line, it is important to realize that this was Webb's first year as a LT after a short offseason. Same goes for Garza, and Louis at RT after Carimi went down. Inexperience and Injuries played a large part in the bears' offensive line struggles. I'm gonna give Webb 1 more year before i call for his replacement.
Also, the Bears are moving Chris Williams back to LT, so he will push Webb harder and i think we will see a lot of improvement from our 7th round pick LT.

My thing with O-lineman, is that they wont pick anyone now who can step in and play, and I didnt feel that way in the 2nd, or 3rd yesterday which was why I wasnt sweatin it as much as everyone else. A OL today for depth wont bother me.

A TE would be great, theres probably some value there. We all know theyre gonna draft some 3 technique kid and hope he works, so expect that. Il be curious to see what happens.

EspnChicago's Wright says Bears are really high on LSU CB Ron Brooks. Could be their 4th round pick
