I was just unaware that you cannot sign a FA once draft day hits. When does it open back up? Obviously you can sign FA’s during the season. So is it just like a week long restriction on signing FA’s or what?

Ya but we have plenty of time to choose our 3rd rounder - normally teams get 5 minutes for a 3rd rounder but since ours is the first pick in day 3, we have all night to think about it. Gotta think that there's a big benefit to that extra time.

Day 2 is the 2nd and 3rd rounds, so the Bears will get the same 5 minutes(?) like everyone else.

Now, they will have all night to pick their 4th rounder because it would be the 1st pick of day 3.
