Bulls also had Brad Miller, if he resigns that counts.. I'm firm in the belief you don't need a good one. All Boston had when they won was Brian Scalabrine who I'm pretty sure is just a mascot for Irish Boston fans.

Kinda like Nooooach. Miss him.

Our Summer League roster is packed with smart white ballers. Skills is another thing, we'll see more on the 13th when they kick off.

I really like Derrick Byars off that list. He is just Special person explosive at times.

With Miller to Miami now, what do you guys think of Michael Redd? Only played 18 games last season but before that he was averaging in the 20's.

Ive read conflicting information about whether this is a done deal. I think his agent has denied it.

Speaking of the Summer League roster, Jack McClinton would be a nice addition. Hopefully he's improved enough to make this roster if there is an opening for him.

I like him too. But I'm hoping Acie Law can come back at the backup spot though. I'm not trying to Kerry Wood the guy(see a few great games, and amass him with love) but he did show us a hell of a lot more than I have ever seen from the list of young players looking to make close to the league minimum.
The fans love him too, but it seems like that request is falling on deaf ears.

Yeah that'd be good to bring back Acie Law & add McClinton.

Mike Miller isnt signed yet but Miami is the front runner over CHI and NY. MIA hasnt signed any of the big 3 yet, they are all working out contract negotiations to figure out how to build the team. Fkn horseshit. all these guys taking pay cuts on the same team...

They might even sign for 5M a year. Then they can sign Miller, Morrow, Korver, etc.

Miami is offering MM 5 years/30M=6M. He wont take less to come here. I think Korver will cost at least 6-7. Morrow i have no clue because GS can match offers. I would get Wes Matthews or Miller to start if we can pry him away from Miami, with Korver or Morrow off the bench.

LOL. Spike Lee just yelled on SC that nobody should help the Heat. He said let them earn a championship instead of buying one like the yanks

I hate Spike Lee but hes correct, they are buying a championship. Having multiple superstars that werent on your team already taking pay cuts to all play together.

They're not really 'buying' one. They're going to end up spending close to the cap just like a whole bunch of other teams. So in terms of cost, it's fairly even.

The Heat still suck and I think this is cheating.

They are buying one because that whole team is being built through FA.

Even though he is their centerpiece, hes now their 2nd best player. A team has never been built like this is the NBA before, never.

we need another star and the only way we will get one now is to trade for one, guys like Korver, he is a decent Role Player at best but he is not the answer as the starting SG, would be nice to add him to our bench of course but I hope the Bulls don't think him or Redick are the answer at SG

Bulls will have to trade for a contract a team might be looking to get rid of like:

Andre Iguodala
Michael Redd
Richard Hamilton
Gilbert Arenas
Monta Ellis

this might be the only way we will get a Star to come to Chicago, looking back...Ben Gordon was the perfect fit for the Bulls, the lineup would have been set if they would have re-signed Gordon

Is this worse than McHale and West giving their old teams Garnett and Gasol?

Rip Hamilton is no longer a star. Ellis combined with Rose gives us the worst defensive back court in basketball, Arenas cost way too much. Iggy would work but what could we trade for him? Redds contract is 18M plus, no way.

Iggy is the only viable option IMO.

I say we get a decent SG in FA and fill the bench with shooters and another big.

Iguodalas contract is insane.

Should we get a big ticket player or modestly priced complimentary players? Should we combine Morrow and Tony Allen at SG for more modest contracts or go after people like Jason Richardson and Andre Iguodala?
