We are in CALIF . Going to get a bite to eat and then go to see the redwoods.
Yes it was great and so was Idaho, was surprised to see eastern Washington State is all high desert and no trees any where.
Sounds good Chasman.
Hey do you plan on riding through B.C. at all? If you do you HAVE to ride through the Slocan Valley and up to Lake Valhalla. A ride you will neeever forget. One has to be ballsy to call a lake Lake Valhalla..but it lives up to the name. The Slocan Valley is breath taking and some good ridding roads those ones.
Yah there has been some brutal clear cutting up there in the past. A lot of forest fire damage also. There is also a hell of a lot of hippies up there growing incredible amounts of pot...lol not the reason for going into the Slocan Valley but does give some extra incentive.
I had a friend who had a cabin up in the Slocan Valley. So spent a few months of my younger days up there sitting in home made hot tubs and fishing and riding some bikes. Great area and a nature lovers dream but you do have to weed through a lot of hippies and thankfully they are doing the re-growths up there properly. It should be deemed a national park some of those areas. It's incredible landscape..glacier built. It's probably my favorite area in B.C. outside of our side of the Rockies.
When I get back i' m going to figure out how to put pics on the boards again.
Have some great shots of TCD and myself.
I also have one of me by the Rogers arena , with my Blackhawk shirt on...
Had a very nice visit with TCD, shorter than I wanted but still had a great time.
Today we went from Bremerton Wa. To Butte Montana.
Will update tomorrow.
Also, did TCD smell funny? I know he'd never answer me truthfully if I asked.
He had the sent of salt water......I think we all did , we met by the bay near where he works.
