Sounds good Chasman.

Hey do you plan on riding through B.C. at all? If you do you HAVE to ride through the Slocan Valley and up to Lake Valhalla. A ride you will neeever forget. One has to be ballsy to call a lake Lake Valhalla..but it lives up to the name. The Slocan Valley is breath taking and some good ridding roads those ones.

Whille I've never been there my sister who has said there was some really bad clear cutting done up there? I know in the NW part of the US there are some pretty divistated places where no trees remain...

Yah there has been some brutal clear cutting up there in the past. A lot of forest fire damage also. There is also a hell of a lot of hippies up there growing incredible amounts of pot...lol not the reason for going into the Slocan Valley but does give some extra incentive.

I had a friend who had a cabin up in the Slocan Valley. So spent a few months of my younger days up there sitting in home made hot tubs and fishing and riding some bikes. Great area and a nature lovers dream but you do have to weed through a lot of hippies and thankfully they are doing the re-growths up there properly. It should be deemed a national park some of those areas. It's incredible landscape..glacier built. It's probably my favorite area in B.C. outside of our side of the Rockies.

RK, we did not get to go there because my buddy had a blow out on his bike at 75 mph in south dakota . We lost more than a day because of that.

I imagine it's a lot like Glacier National Park in Northern Montana. Bet it's incredibly cool and unreal as far as scenery goes.

have fun on the rest of your trip Charlie. Michelle says HI!

Chasman. Thanks again for the hats..that was an incredible surprise and it was great to meet you guys. I owe you for what you did and for going out of your way like you did.

Chasman is the new king of the boards and gets immunity from the fist fight. The rest of you have been downgraded.

I left you a pm Chasman.

Have a great ride back. I ment it I am envious of your guys ride. Probably have seen some amazing things during it. Stories that last a life time.

LOL

I have 2 rules in my life.

1) Don't **** with a biker

2) Don't **** with someone older than you. While I may still be from the generation of fists before gun fire I am well aware who the grandfather of those days are.

Although I do wear chains around my hip.....they are not there just for esthetics...well one might be. The other one has a knife on the end of it. I use it to cut through my kiwi fruits.

And when the **** are you stepping on enemy soil RK?

same year I get a passport I suppose!

My rule never **** with anyone with Combat experience in multiple campaigns! LOL

When I get back i' m going to figure out how to put pics on the boards again.

Have some great shots of TCD and myself.

I also have one of me by the Rogers arena , with my Blackhawk shirt on...

Had a very nice visit with TCD, shorter than I wanted but still had a great time.

Today we went from Bremerton Wa. To Butte Montana.

Will update tomorrow.

Man you have made use of this good weather more than anyone I've ever known. As I said me, GeneFoley and two other friends made a giant(to us) road trip out to Washington. I'll put some pictures up here as I have talked about it enough, and hockey for some reason still lingers off in October.

Glad your travels have been great, and safe so far. Driving through Wyoming at night was the closest I felt to death in a while, 70 miles from Buffalo to Gillete and didn't see one car going our way and only a few trucks going the other way. Keep up the American dream chas.

Also, did TCD smell funny? I know he'd never answer me truthfully if I asked.

If you need help figuring out how to post the pictures, let me know. Are they hosted online already? If so there is a little picture icon right above this text box and under the arrow for the text size. You click that picture icon and a little box pops up where you can enter the URL. Once you've entered the URL and click submit or whatever, it will automatically appear in your post.

If you don't have them hosted there are lot's of different ways you can do that. Free Photobucked, Picasa, hell even facebook if you want.
