They need to keep Seabs...like RK said who do we have to replace him?

Most teams would never let one of there top defenseman go....too hard to replace.

Yeah, well most teams don't have a "Splash Master".

I saw we just roll with one guy, Duncan Seabrook.... the marvel of modern science. Think of the cap we could save.

Toews is this teams most important player hands down. NO question. Keith goes out there are folks to replace him and soon guys like Leddy and or Lalonde that would play a very similar game. Seabs, no one and Olson is no where near ready.

The Hawks play Physical they win. They don't they lose.

Bingo... and when Lalonde is ready he brings that physical D-Man presence. You think Lalonde is more similar to Keith than Seabrook? I always saw it the other way seeing highlights of him in juniors... only seen him live 3x in Rockford so maybe that's changed.

Is it an old 27 jersey, or a nice new 72?

I didn't think to look at the number I was too disgusted at the name plate.

Not sure Grimson. I think more like Keith but maybe more physical. Not nearly as physical as Seabrook IMO. Olsen might be though but thats a couple of years from now.

I'm not sure about the cap savings. It would have one body, two brains, two contracts and separate bank accounts. There would also be two agents giving contrary advice, causing an inevitable short circuit (or match penalty). Also, choosing and usage of hair care products will be a ticking time bomb.

And FWIW, Brouwer is credited with 18 more hits than Seabrook.

Don't worry, my useless quotes go all the way back to The Honeymooners. And if necessary, earlier.
