Seriously, title says it all.
There is no need for a sub-forum.
There is no need for a sub-forum.
wait what. Somebody wants a Cubs sub-forum in here?
:nope:
There are now sub-forums on the Sox and Cubs boards for rumors. Just something new we're trying out.
Recruiting some more Sox fans would help.
That's gonna be tough to do with KW at the helm, a depleted roster and a newbie manager for the upcoming season
this sub forums thing in the sox forum is stupid. if the cubs guys want theirs, great. but for a slower forum like this one, putting all the rumors and shit in a sub forum is just a pain in the ass for any lurker. they want to go into the sox main forum and have everything right there, they are going to see a whole lot of nothing and may not realize they have to go into another hole to see rumors. i have already expressed my opinion on this but it looks like rush has other ideas about the site with his new staff guys.
I'm just giving feedback on the changes I see.
Most of them are great, this one, not so much.
If I still posted on southsiders.net, i'd try to get more people.
But the board is barely active now.
If a Mod would like to title thread "rumor" or something along those lines, I'd be fine with that, but I really don't want to click extra to find out what could be going on with the Cubs.
I still hold the belief that can be an MLB discussion forum, linked on both the White Sox and Cubs forums as the same subforum would be successful.
I don't know how you would do it but having a mlb subforum in each of the cubs and white sox forum that linked to the same place would be a great idea imo. I'm indifferent to the new rumor forums. I think the content in the forum will be far more influential in keeping ppl once they get here than layout, and rush I think gave a solid reason to have them for the purpose of driving more traffic to the site.
