Just wanted to make sure credit was given appropriately for the idea is all. Star Trek references though certainly make me happy because I've gotten to talk about Jacksonian America and Star Trek in the same day.

Rumors may affect both teams so an MLB forum is a good idea to corral all those threads. I don't know what kind of software Rush uses but if it's not feasible the rumors forums can be okay for organizing NL and AL rumors. An extra click isn't going to kill people; in my experience on other sites subforums are actually quite welcome.

You didn't express your opinion. You just said you the new sub-forums suck. That is far from expressing much of anything.

Having a "Chicago White Sox Rumors" means that it will help rank CCS up higher for Sox fans looking for rumors. If you google "Chicago White Sox Forum" on Google, we show up on the 1st page. We can also show up on the 1st page if we have a sub-forum called "Chicago White Sox Rumors". While the Cubs forum had it added to help organized, I figured well...the Sox forum could use some new posters and they might want more activity, I'll add it on there as well for search engine purposes 100%. Apparently this is an issue but...

If you GENUINELY are that upset by this let me know and I'll remove it. And then the only new baseball fans coming to the site for Rumors will be Cubs fans.

But seriously, if you see that it brings in more traffic, keep it. If it ends up not doing much, then just scrap it.

We need some more Sox fans on here, because this is the slowest forum. Not sure how to recruit for this though.

A rumors thread would be nice to keep organized if there was more news and more discussion in the Sox forum.
