I should also note that you should be concerned with starting pitchers oh i dont know..who are in their 30s getting 155 mil for what they did not what they are going to do. but hey everything the sox do is " too expensive "

Dont be so sensitive. If the Cubs made this move again, you would be calling it a piss poor move. It works both ways. Bonafacio is streaky and not that good of a defender. He has a lot of versatility and the speed can be an asset. When he is streaking, he can make a lineup go. When he is not, he really brings little value. I dont mind a player like that on my team, but much rather have him coming off the bench.

Yeah, no need to be a jerk with your condescending tone. I have three college degrees, I know how to read. You can be a major pain in the ass when you want to be, but I think you're aware of that.

Since when does making a light joke of proper comma usage become a troll attempt? Only Sox fans could turn a :rimshot: into a troll?

As for Boni, I wouldn't want him as my everyday starter, but I think he could make the bench more solid. Is 4 mil, no...$3 mil with a $1 mil option...too much for that?

And yet you haven't learned to apologize or control your temper.

It's a one year $3 million dollar deal with a club $4 million dollar option/$1 million dollar buiyout.

you think all of our moves are bad. who on the cubs was better than bono last year at 2b?

So if some one is an upgrade over the starter of a team that hasn't made the playoffs in 6 years, that makes him worth signing? Great logic Rick Hahn

Expensive for the Sox and expensive for the Cubs are two different definitions of expensive.

During the winter meetings, Hahn said he was on a strict budget. Paying 15 M plus for a closer and a probable bench piece probably isn't the best use of funds when looking at this team

I don't like this move. I'd rather see what Micah (or Dirty Sanchez) can do. Since most if not all of us know Ventura's a borderline Special person, he's going to play this guy almost every day and he might be the everyday 2B which is NOT good for the Sox going forward. If he's spelling the kids at 2B, giving Alexei a breather, and platooning with Gillaspie the move is alright, but since most of us know the dumbass tendencies of Robin I just can't endorse this signing and I've been on board with every move Hahn's made this offseason.

It's a minor who-gives-a-shit depth move.

Everyone stfu and go shovel your driveway before someone slips on it and sues your ass...(most likely a jaded cubs fan with horrible balance and reasoning skills).

Use a smaller shovel ya bum

My driveway is about 2300 sq/ft. so I deserve bigger blades. I only use Suncast 24" & 27". It's nice when the bestest (sic) shovel on earth is locally made.

I agree concerning Melky.

Emilio Bonifacio isn't worthy of a 3 page serious thread. I move we change this to a shovel review thread. :tiptoe: :p
