Kerry Wood-R-Yankees Dec. 15 - 9:18 pm et

According to Chicago Tribune, the White Sox have made a two-offer to free agent reliever Kerry Wood.
They may pull that offer off the table in the wake of Wednesday's signing of Jesse Crain. Or maybe the White Sox are looking to entirely revamp the back-end of their bullpen. Wood posted a stellar 1.23 ERA and 0.69 WHIP in 26 innings as a setup man for the Yankees this past season. He's thought to be seeking a three-year contract worth around $6 million per year.

I'm not gonna say if this is a good or bad signing until I see him pitch. But I always go w/ that when you overpay relievers, you will get burned. It doesn't help that he'll pitch in the homer-friendly US Cellular Field

Or do you mean overpaid in terms of years?

The numbers haven't been disclosed yet

Both in money and in years.

I dont mind it, lets see how much he got. Relievers are hard to judge cause many of them are so bipolar from year to year
Yep. One year a reliever will be great, the next he'll suck. One year a bargain basement reliever is great, the next year he falters.
