Whitney Houston’s death Saturday may have been caused by an accidental drowning — perhaps due to the superstar falling asleep in the bathtub of her Beverly Hilton Hotel room after taking a prescription medication to make her relax.
A hotel source told the Sun-Times early Sunday that Houston’s team — including her hairdresser, two bodyguards and her stylist — “were literally hysterical when they realized the singer was dead … as soon as they found her in the tub.”

Sorry, but anyone citing Whitney isnt top 5 material is beyond bias to their personal tastes. Its fine if no one liked her music, shes before many were even born here and I was to young to care lol, but respect should be present. Doesn't write songs, everything that she's known for was written by someone else. Plays no instruments on her album. Excuse me if I'm hesitant to call her one of the top 5 females to make music.....

technically the heart can stop, the heart can die etc etc, and the person can be still conscious since there have been cases of this happening due to the brain still firing.

if all body parts are shut down, and the brain which is known to be still conscience and firing clinically the person is ruled dead.
also you are spinning this around from RS' dumb comment. as it is alot more realistic to be unconscience and NOT dead than to be conscience and dead. That was the entire point. his post was irrelevant to what I was trying to state.
As is an overdose of drugs for example could make you unconscience and still be alive with a heart beat, which is what i was stating, she was found unconscience at the time, and i was simply pointing that out that she could have been still alive but help arrived to late and her heart stopped and went brain dead at some point.

If your heart stops but your brain is functioning...you're not dead.

I can easily accept that view point without hesitation. We're just viewing it differently. Im much more straight forward in the sense of her individual voice, than song writing. Mostly because not every great song is written and sung by the same person. Just like some great songs are never great until sung by another.
