I picked up a hyper real luke for me and colorz me impressed. instantly have to get vader to pair with it now. if there was an entire line of these and not just those two, id probably collect a lot of them. a lil bit larger than the black series scale. i get why ppl opt for sideshow/hot toys now. the hyper real metal endoskeleton shit is sweet and smooth as. i can only imagine the quality of da top shelf shit
I got in 4 of the bootleg shf in. 2 vaders and 2 lukes.
scale wise i know shf is a little shorter than black series.. these are def smaller too. scaling it next to emp and jango.... the lukes build are okay but the face color is a lil sus. i can paint shit irl and can fix them if its all that.,.
the vader is flawed imo.. i put glue tack under the feet so it would stand up straight to show its height, without it, it semi wants to do the splits cause of the cape weight.. the cape is made of a heavier rubber. if one were to mod it with a cloth cape it would go a long way. however it still stands without tack just in a wide stand.. i have 2 and both act the same.
idk how i feel about the bootlegs overall.. i got them cheap as from ali express, so i dont feel completely disappointed. ive seen them even cheaper from other china sites i import shit from. however, there is some logistic issues going on in da china atm and its too annoying just to ship a few toys.
i got me legit shf from japan. only the fett has come in so far but i havent opened it yet to compare the actual plastic/joints/paint apps etc.. but on the bootleg boxes. vader says SIAR WARs instead of Star. the Lukes has star wars. neither figure has the star wars logo on the front plastic window like all shf do, nor any shf branding.. im sure there are different bootleg versions and tiers of them. im just new to the star wars game so id have to dig a lil to find out da 411s
30 droids.. deadEkated. i was gonna pick up bandais model kits for r2d2 but i saw the new rd2d being released is a bigger scale as opposed to the older version and just gotz that..

@Anytime23 me did some research on these bootlegs... the vader is based on the original shf vader release. which was flawed and small. SHF went on to release a slightly taller version with a upper cloth cape and rubber lower hip cape.
when watching reviews on the episode VI luke the legit copies seem to have different joint design in the head.. also the joints in the hands look better built in the legit copies... however.. we be comparing a 5-10 dollar figure to a 70-100+ dollar one. one could fix up the bootlegs and it would be suffice imo. luke is an easier fix.. bootleg vader needs modification with a cloth cape..
also talked to a china man who had slightly more expensive versions that had the branding and star wars foil logos.. dunno about the quality of the figures.. when it comes to bootlegs.. its always hit and miss, even from the same run
shf also did a mandalorian version too which is cheap atm. its a slightly different mold, but similar enough. i ordered that and will compare it directly when i gets it.

Not really. I have a few things from them but i wouldn't call it a kick. I'm always on the look out for something during their daily deals. I dont want to end up getting any kind of premium imperial figure from them because that will open the floodgates to me buying a bunch of stuff.
