Too many players out West deserve it more.

Like.....

I can see Westbrook.. But Lowry is having a better season then Parker. He's having just as good, if not a better season then Harden.

But you see Noah?? Hellen Keller would be able to see that there are much better options and players this year than Noah he has been awful all season.

I believe that he will be chosen as a reward for his last year performance.

But there are not so many decent Cs.Otherwise Noah wouldn't be mentioned at all.

Hibbert

Chandler

or Andrea B

they are much more deserving. You dont reward Noah for having a bad season and being out of shape when there are better players available putting up better #s and helping their team more. Anyone who watches NBA basketball would take Hibbert over Noah this year and it is not even close.

So by this logic no rookie should ever make the all star game?? By this logic no player who had a bad season last year can be an all star this year even if they average all star #s on a good team? Your logic is BS.

That isnt how this works and he shouldn't be chosen period he has been awful this year it isnt even like this subject is debatable. If Noah was playing good than maybe it would be close but in no way is Noah deserving of a all star game.

Parker is having the better season in my opinion. He's averaging about 3 more points with better shooting percentages nearly across the board. Parker averages nearly as many assists with less turnovers than Lowry, too. I'd give Lowry the edge when it comes to defense and rebounding, but Parker is honestly the better floor general and doesn't have much more help than Lowry. But his team has the better record.

Harden is a better scorer, defender, and also a very good passer. I'm taking Harden over Lowry, too. Or Steve Nash over Lowry. Ty Lawson and Andre Miller aren't too far behind Lowry either.

By no means is Harden a better defender than Lowry that is just silly to even think IMO. Lowry is as good of defender as you can find at the pg. James Harden didnt play as much as hee should of in his first couple years because of bad defense.

Ty Lawson should be in consideration for the game as well.

I can see Harden over him, but Parker? He averages just about 2 more points then him. Other then that, the stats are pretty close. I'd say Parker has a better team around him, not by much. Lowry is having a really good season. I'd out him over Parker.

I disagree. Harden is stronger and more physical than Lowry with very quick hands. He's definitely a much better defensive player than he was a couple of years ago. I've seen Lowry get worked by a lot of star point guards before and that is the only position he can even guard.

It's a thinker, I'll grant you that. With me, I tend to reward the more proven player with the better team record when in doubt.

who doesnt get worked from time to time by star pgs?? The way the rules are set up it gives the advantage to the offense. Guys like Westbrook and Rose are hard to guard regardless if you are a great defender or bad. I would grade Lowry as a A defender and Harden as a B or B- which is improvement but he still needs work. It really is a coin flip though Harden is deserving so is Lowry IMO.

harden can only guard a SG/SF he would get shredded guarding "star pgs" he isnt quick enough laterally.

Why? Lowry is having just as good of a season if not better then Parker.

Lowry was getting near triple doubles for a good stretch not too long ago. Like a version of Rondo that could shoot.

I would definitely rather have Lowry guarding the PG position. I agree with that. Harden can guarding some of the Billups/Andre Miller bigger/slower/more physical points very well though. All in all, I like Harden's scoring a lot more than Lowry's and that is the main reason I give him the edge (not only his ability to guard at least 2 positions well).

I hope Coach Thibbs coaches the east allstars..
He can play Lebron for 48 minutes to wear him out before the playoffs.

All star Ballot
Dwight Howard (Orl) 1.600.390
Joakim Noah (Chi) 236.497
Tyson Chandler (NY) 163.077
Joel Anthony (Mia) 101.307
JaVale McGee (Was) 63.765
Al Horford (Atl) 50.396

So Hibbert was bellow 50000 votes. That is really unfair for this guy.But I believe I will be right.Noah will be in the all star.

In fact I believe it would be more difficult for Deng to be in the all star game.Stoudamire,Garnett and Bosh have more votes. And OK lets say screw KG.Amare and Bosh are a must see from the voters. It will be difficult to leave them out.
